Do you find that with such a simple / not drawn out landing page, that it is hard to get a good keyword matching? IE there arnt enough keywords on the landing page to link it to your ad group?

when running ads for clients, do you put their phone number on the landing page, or do you use a tracking number and then forward the calls to the client. i was wondering if we don't put the clients number will the ads still be approved?

If I'm targeting the keywords: Miami Videographer, Miami Video Production, Miami Video Marketing. Is it better to split these into 3 separate ad groups with a different landing page for each to get better ad relevancy between search terms, ad copy and landing page copy or are they too similar that it's better to keep it as one ad group and one landing page?
I would 100% create 3 separate ad groups. I think it would also make sense to create different landing pages to build that ad relevancy

Great video! I loved it, watched it several times. But it would be a good idea to show a bad landing page that is not so dramatic like the one you showed. Most probably, bad landing pages that do not convert are not that bad, are more like in the middle, and now we dont have an example of one so that we can see how its not good. Could you share one please?

Great info. I purchased your Google ads course, It was great. If anyone is reading this I highly recommend it. I do have one question about using landingi software. Of course you create a landing page for the clients ad to direct too, How do you handle linking their domain name to the landing page? Do you create a new domain or a subdomain of the clients domain? So glad you liked the course. We go out and purchase a new domain with either a .co or .us ending. This allows us to quickly setup the account and not rely on the client.

Are you saying a conversion on a landing page is filling out a form or calling?
When you say a website gets .05% conversion are those also filling out a form or is that a sale conversion?

Honestly, you can find a whole bunch of sources that show higher and lower than this. I've used my own personal experience from doing numerous account audits and running many campaigns when I mention these numbers. Normally websites convert substantially lower than landing pages and that's the main point I'm trying to make in this video. I urge almost everyone to use one if you're running Google Ads to use some form of landing page to get better results. Thanks for the question - Matt

Great video. However, you missed the boat on the cultural differences between UI/UX preferences in the West vs. the East. Most pages in China are super super "busy," even so-called traditional companies like banks.
Of course, I just made an assumption that Ling was targeting Asian customers in his locale. Could be wrong. 🙂
The site is suppose to be very busy however it highlights what the majority of sites should not do. Of course there is always exceptions. Thanks for the feedback

But how about for a complicated business like "Home automation" ??
• Would you still say that it's better to put just 1 CTA ? (Shouldn't I put a ChatBot)
I say "complicated" because it's not really straight forward for what the website-visitor actually wants, and the top agencies always preach about how "Using a ChatBot is a no-brainer for Home-automation businesses".
• But now that I think of it, the agency is incentivized to say so, as they charge separately for the ChatBot feature.
