I'm 44 and I don't have a mom, a sister, an aunt or an older friend to help give me advice as I age, so I really appreciate these videos. I also live with 3 men -- my husband and two sons -- so when I say I have no women to lean on, I really mean it. So this is very valuable for someone in my situation. Thanks! 🌷

Thanks for all your tips! I also highly recommend false eyelashes for older ladies like me. I'm 70, and my eyelashes are so thin and short, they're almost nonexistent. I've found that subtle natural looking eyelashes make me look sooo much better! And younger! You have to practice putting them on, but once you learn how, a natural looking pair of lashes is truly a game changer!

Love your videos. I'm in the 60+ zone so please don't take offense if I offer a little skin advice. And I have not seen all of your videos, yet, so maybe you are doing more for your face now. I love the fact you don't load up on products on your face, but it is a must, a must to use an antioxidant on your face along with your beloved moisturizer.
Vitamin C is a game changer. Morning & night.
Those little red spots in your face are potential pre cancers & a Vitamin C serum can save your skin and possibly your life. These actinic keratosis skin lesions do not hurt & look very benign, but won't stay that way. There are many good ones in the market, but one that will do the job & is budget friendly is Tru Skin Vitamin C serum.
Over time it will help with hyperpigmentation & blotchiness also. If you spend any time in the Florida sun, a sun block can really help too. ☺️
    A Fellow Florida girl. ☀️

We have been to The Villages about 4 or 5 times over the the last 4 years and we are coming again in April 2023. We currently have 2 realtors and are looking and will be purchasing a Cottage Villa (we have 2 pups, one is a beagle and barks when the wind blows....hence the much needed walls!) very soon....and so, I have been watching a ton of videos. And then I found your decorating one....LOVED it! I have to tell you that I have made a list and I am DIY'ing or duping many of the items....I LOVE your style...very similar to mine...but...we are buying the home as a vacation now/retirement home in 5+ years! So, I am planning on decorating our new-ish home...on a dime...which is totally fun for me! (Because we live in Chattanooga and this will still be our main home .... and we are not renting out our home in The Villages!) But...girl...I then found your fashion videos...and they are sooooo much fun! Loving them! Gotta find those jeans at Walmart with the tummy hider/larger waist band (and fyi...you do NOT need those! LOL!) The daily makeup/skincare one was fun too! I follow "HotandFlashy" - Angie - (menopause!) on TH-cam for years and love her and do most of that stuff....I just wanted to suggest maybe considering an every day (rain or shine) tinted sunscreen....after your moisturizer and before your foundation....girl....you are now in Florida! Anyway.....I adore your channel....and am loving going back and watching all the ones from the past....and looking forward to all of the new ones! You are doing a GREAT job!!!! Thank you!

I am 60 and I enjoy hearing about the products that other mature women are liking. I plan to try some of your suggestions in this video...like eyeliner. I used to use the Lancome Cils Booster lash primer and loved it, but I stopped purchasing it due to how pricey it was (and I am now retired), but I may try the Loreal brand that some of your viewers recommended. I agree that it definitely makes a difference! Thanks again for being so down to earth and real! The world needs more "real" people! Take care!

Makeup used to fun in my 30’s but now in my 60’s it’s a necessity. I can afford but choose drug store makeup with my fav foundation being JOAH from CVS. Huge fan of ELF’s mini shadow kits and use darker shade as a liner smudged to soften. My Mom worked at a factory 46 yrs as a single Mom of 6. She put on makeup every morning ( red headed and fair) and always said “ If I don’t do my eyes they look like 2 pissholes in the snow!”

The Dior lash primer is good, but I like the Lancome Cils Booster a bit better for a couple of reasons, first the Lancome has a bristle brush vs the Dior plastic brush and I have found that primers tend to dry out before I use them up and Sephora sells a small size of the Lancome product for $14 so it doesn't dry out before I run out of it...just a bit more cost effective...the full size are about the same price for both brands and they both do a great job really making the lashes look much better and longer under your favorite mascara so for me the game changer is the ability to get it in a smaller size and I always have preferred bristle brushes to plastic brushes in my mascara products which is just a personal opinion and has no real impact on how the product performs...they are both amazing products

I don’t like my Thrive mascara but I got waterproof and I think that’s why! I like L’Oréal air volume and Essense that’s really cheap from ulta in the green and black container.. no clumping!! have you ever got your eyebrows threaded before? Instead of waxing , the girl uses thread and I love the look.. then I use the ulta brand brow stylist! It’s really good and easy to use!

I like Equate wipes - the rose water is my favorite. I do have the micellar water-love it and the Elf holy hydration per your suggestion.I love all the Elf products and the price point
The Maybelline Cheek Heat is so pretty. Been using Burt’s Bees
My dermatologist told me if I want to moisture my skin drink lots of water. But I still put moisturizer on. It just feels good!
I can’t use any deodorant except Secret Clinical. My problem is hormonal so that’s that
Wayne Gods offers great makeup tips - and so does my daughter. She wants to be an esthetician and a makeup artist. She’s really good and I’m excited for her
    Great video as always

Angela you look beautiful! I think the most important thing any women can use
is a mineral base SUNSCREEN. Even inside and especially driving or taking walks. Take it from me your brown areas will get darker as you age if you don’t. I too love using a primer before mascara 😍 cheers

I’ve started using Australian Gold spf 50 (on Amazon) under my makeup. It’s mineral and actually tinted and now called a bb cream so you can use it alone for light application or under. I really like it. Also heard Cerave makes a good one too. Both recommended by Angie at Hot and Flashy (on TH-cam) as good ones and affordable.

Does the oily feel absorb into the skin? Does it rub off on clothes? I would like to try it, but just wondered about messing up my clothes!

    • @rosiet253
      @rosiet253 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@vickistockley1711 now I don’t use it but my husband still does. Due to hot flashes, this deodorant no longer is working great for me. I don’t think it stained any clothing. I now use Beauty Counter clean deo which works better but I do reapply at night. I’m toying with going back to regular antiperspirant while I’m dealing with these hot flashes.

Love this video and all the recommendations. Voluminous mascara by L'Oreal is my fav. As a glasses wearer I can't have my eyelashes too long, but this one makes them look full. Been using it for years. Also my hair is now white so I wear the Black/Brown as pure black is too dark.

I am so happy this video came up in my feed as I have not seen a beauty or make-up video in over 2 years. Am going to get all of these products you mentioned with the exception of the hair stuff as I have dry, coarse, damaged hair. I too have always loved the L Telescopic mascara but have not used mas ara in overm3 years since I have not bone anywhere except the grocery ynstore. I cannot belive that I have seriously been looking for MOST of these suggestions and hope they are listed in the description otherwise I will just re-watch and write them down. You are such a beautiful woman thru and thru and I wish I had a friend like you because you have such a lovely healing vibration. ❤ This is only my 2nd video of yours so I will be binge watching this next month. 😊

ELF has been killing it lately with their improved, inexpensive products. Yes, do use blush! It helps one look healthy and youthful. And please use sunscreen to protect your skin from sun damage. Some of the Korean sunscreens are very lightweight and can add some hydration.-Keep the good videos coming!

Being a former hairstylist I say some people look younger with a cute short cut but others look much younger with longer. Angela looks great with longer. A lady at our church grew her hair out during Covid...she looked ten to fifteen years younger and then started dressing trendier..it was an unreal for the better change. I will say a utuber I watch got her hair layered...made her look soo much younger.
