- FORScan with the OBDLink EX cable, progrmming a new transponder key to a Ford Transit Connect van firstly checking the orginal key on the keydiy KD-X2 then using the key programmer in FORScan to make a replacement. Will the key programming work THIS TIME?

Thanks for the video, I had the same issue with transponder, but luckily I had bought two other ford keys for a different ford, keys didn’t program first time, changed the transponders then no problem. Car starts no issues with both keys. Thank you.

Great video, well explained. Do you know if this procedure will work if you only have a spare key (non fob). I have a original Ford fob key second hand to be coded to the car.

Great video, thanks for the explanation. Do you need to already have a working key to do this procedure? Lost key and no spare, will have a new key cut to operate the ignition barrel and connect forscan but will it still program or does it need to see a working key first?

Hello, I have only one key. I tried to program and I can no longer drive the car. Is there a way to program a single key?
The first chip was blank, you had to generate a code and load it onto the chip, second one worked because chip was already coded.

I have 2 cards for mazda cx 9 from 2008. I have a problem with keyless go. Once it works fine and in a moment I have to start the car with a metal key. The key flashes red while driving. Not when the immo is flashing and I can't start the car. I suspect that it is the keyless module or the fault of one of the antennas. Can I use a forscan to reprogram my cards? Is it safe?
Are the 4D63 80 bit transponders backwards compatible to the 4D63 40 bit transponders?
I believe they are supposed to be backward compatible

hello. i have a question. im trying to do the same following this video but when clicking start in PATS (Run Service Procedure) I get error message "PATS programming has been started" + "Service procedure as been interrupted" - but i did nothing. the system does not go through and this is loop every time i press "Run Service procedure" button. Any tips? tks (just a highlight that in "Service Procedures" menu I only got 3 options "Module PCM - PATS Programming" ; "Module PCM - Change Fuel Injectors Factors" ; "Module PCM - Read Fuel Injectors Factors" )
