Things I forgot to say in the vid: 0:02:30 The physics rate option actually doesn't do anything so it doesn't matter what you set it to. 0:14:30 Don't worry too much about uncrouch b-hopping if you're just starting. It only saves a second or two but will lose you time if you get the timing wrong. 0:17:20 I was too far forwards here! You should actually be more like on the line. The real way you should line it up is once you reach the intersection of lines on the ground you should MOVE BACK FROM THE LIGHT UNTIL YOUR ARM IS FULLY EXTENDED. I wasn't getting flung all the way because my arm wasn't fully extended. This trick is consistent if you do it properly. 0:19:30 You also want to pull your hand backwards just before you fling for more force (you can see me doing this on the input viewer). 0:22:30 A good way to start with valve fly is instead of applying constant force on your head through the valve occasionally release and reapply the force once you're flying. By "release and reapply" I mean "push" the valve into your chin to start flying then bring the valve back away from your chin (ie. bring the valve towards your body to the same point just before you were about to valve fly) and then push it into your chin again. This will keep you familiar with the point where the valve starts applying force and you won't accidentally pull the valve out from under your chin while you're in the air. 0:33:00 To do gun glitch you need to also wait until the magazine has fully extended and become glitched before you grab the gun again or the magazine will just go back into the gun. 0:44:05 When melon flying into a wall behind you it doesn't matter whether you look straight ahead or downwards, you will always get pushed upwards at around the same speed (feels slightly faster looking straight ahead though). 0:47:50 You should lunge forwards when you jump to easily clear this gap. 0:54:20 It's easier if you stay well above the red square when you reach the finish trigger so that you see it coming and have a longer fall to line yourself up properly. 1:05:55 I forgot to show a different way to clip that Emil found. I've never tried it before but it is apparently very consistent. See one of their runs for an example but it involves jumping between the metal bars and the wall then running at the wall to clip out.
i didnt know the new crouch movement was based on ingame height and actual jump height great tutorial keep it up (dont do any% no gun glitch i need it)

@ic1ngGDI switch to desktop view while in vr to control the timer

Thanks, dude! Lots of great info. I had suspectedt it wasn't magic.. 🤣

i always end up with like 213 bullets
