Hi! New subscriber here, Im very interested to learn more about being a VA. My skills focuses more on Customer Service and been working in a BPO company for a few years now. I`m hesitant to apply since there are some job posting doesnt indicate whether theres training or not and am afraid that I might lose some connects, BTW i just got my approved account in upwork.
Lionel Urquiza Thank you for being here and taking a moment to comment! Congrats on getting approved! For now, look for projects mentioning that they’ll provide training just to make sure. But in all honestly, if you feel like you got what it takes but not sure if training will be provided then include that in your proposal: Tell the client what you can bring in. What skills you have that will help the business PLUS mention that you also have some areas to improve and would love to have basic training. Something like that. Most of the time, you just need to let them know that you’re interested to work but need some training.

Web or Internet research skills - to conduct research or gather information from credible or reliable sources like published materials or blogs. Validate articles through other sources. 2. Customer support/service - handling emails, replying to DMs or comments and sometimes to literally speak with a client. - empathy, clear communication, positive attitude, and 3, social media skills - be familiar with algorithm, content strategy, growth strategy, engagement, and social media data analytics.

English fluency > 7 Spreadsheet > maybe 7 too? depende kasi eto sa makukuha mong projects. Not all require expertise in spreadsheets *Not all are night shift because you choose your projects.

Hi! I’m not really familiar about how agencies work kasi I’m more of an Upwork person (where they get 10-20% from my earnings per client). It’s best to review your contract with the agency if it states na they will deduct from your earnings. Hope I make sense.😇
Gorgeous Gigi Most of the audio and video calls I get are just during the interviews. For the past year, I haven’t been getting calls from clients as most of my tasks are on content creation and social media management which don’t really require calls to and from clients. To communicate with clients I use messenger, glip and whatsapp. Thank you for checking out my videos!
Hi! When you become a VA, do you usually follow a graveyard shift? I guess, are most of the employers you will be working with mostly from the US? Thanks.
Hi! 1st - you’re not required to work wee hours because you can choose your projects therefore you can choose to have flexible hours. 2nd - VAs are not employees unless clearly stated by some companies [with benefits such as health insurances, vacation leaves, bonuses, etc] BUT technically, VA’s are business owners/freelancers. Hope this helps!
