I’m glad that she was doing what she loved to the end. Going peacefully in one’s sleep has to be the best way to pass through to the other side. I wonder where her soul will re emerge? Hopefully into joy.
I'm so very glad to see a women that has reached this time in her life and she is still creating...so many artists and crafters I know just stop as they get older and it puts the fear in me that I might suddenly lose the desire to create... She does seem so very sad although she tries to cover it with a smile...
you made me cry at the end. i was sketching while i was listening her. i made a sketch of her and wrote one of her saying "guilt is not good thing. it doesn't help." on my sketchbook and when i saw she'd passed away i couldn't stop my tears. sleep in lights dear Ann Newdigate.....
It is very sad that it takes time, often a long time, and many frustrating experiences, to realize that very often, when someone accuses you of being selfish and self-centered, when you refuse to accede to their "requests" (demands), it is the other person who is being selfish. Yes, there are times when we should offer assistance, but with time, one learns to distinguish.
She was so right about the "shoulds" so often we spend far too much time thinking rather than doodling, exploring options. My admiration for all artists who believe in themselves. Their legacies live on! Thank you for this interview 🙏
it was so nice to hear her voice again. I miss Ann a lot. I will cherish forever our moments talking together, and the sweater she made for John that she gave me. I'm thankful to have known her. Good work Hornby arts.
These films are so deeply touching, revealing, healing, and uplifting…thank you for sharing such delightfully insightful glimpses into the lives of artists!
Dear Ann, Your spirit lives on in color, texture, composition, and line. You have encouraged me to talk back to SHOULD firmly in order to listen to and use my own artistic voice. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and modeling a way for others!
I am an artist. I don't worry about making things that " last forever", because all things are temporary - even us artists! All things must pass - quote from George Harrison. The best thing to do with your life, is to do the things you love best and keep company with lovely animals and people, the ones that you love best. Hugs to all from Saskatchewan.
Wise words absolutely time stops and the dishes don’t get done. My art practice has got me through chronic illness. But honestly art has been a saviour for me. I love to paint and share what I know with others on these platforms much love all xx

I don’t understand the need for Art to be Important.
I just need to bring out the Joy Within .

Anne Knoee ?
You don't draw; you craft when drawing!!! Therefore, they seem enfantile!
Las letras finales son el homenaje a una vida en el arte. Yo quisiera morir como ella, en el sueño de la creación artística. QEPD Ann...
