    I never turn the tv on during the day with one exception. And Mr. Jansen is that exception. He is a good teacher and I learn so much. Not to mention I always get a chuckle or two. Who doesnt like to laugh??? He says the things I struggle with, left brain, analytical fight! Keep up the good work.

      It's because he's a real person bless your heart and bless his heart for taking the time right I agree. The best instructor and just he's a human instead of being all snotty and snobby like everybody it's just wonderful and refreshing and then when he giggles and you're right there with him so I and I agree what a fabulous comment bless your heart and bless his heart and I love how he says you can change it I did and mine ended up turning into a cherry blossom but worth every it's it's just it's so fabulous it really is. I can't wait till I can really get diving in my house caught on fire so my whole world got turned upside down and I only get a paint here and there but I'm still painting and everybody just keep painting that's true bless your heart God bless Mr Jansen

Your knowledge about the paints, the mediums and how they work, coupled with your talent and kind demeanor makes you one of a kind. Ok. I better quit before you get the big head. LOL But, really, thank you.

    I started watching these vid's quite a long time ago, specifically because of trouble I had painting florals. Then I tried the paints. They're wonderful. Then I had to try the fusion brushes, and wow! Perfect stiffness! Now, I find I'm not even as absorbed in the flower petals as I found myself getting pulled into the backgrounds. I have a lot of canvas sheets, stretched canvases, canvas boards. leftover lumber and even a few odd pieces of cardboard, all backgrounds. Current project: All these bg techniques, on different texture/or lack of textures, using different mediums, gessoes, or whatever is at hand. At some point, I really need to get back to those flower petals. I can't even express how much stumbling across your vid's has changed my art-life. There's no amount of gratitude that will ever be enough to thank you.

I created those minimalist style backgrounds from monet and van gogh but never knew the whole theory and logic behind this particular art style. Also using paper towel for acrylics is new for me. Always thought those paper towels could only be useful for illusionist style landscape oil paintings. Thank you for the good work.

    • @JansenArtEducation
      @JansenArtEducation  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Open medium is thicker and has "glue" in it. It dries just as slow as extender. I used it to get some transparency while maintaining the "body" or thickness of the paint where extender thins the paint.

I have a question about the golden GAC 100 and golden retarder, how do these differ and how to use the GAC100 is 6:30 this similar to any of your products. Thank you for teaching your arm is fantastic.

    Bien cordialement.
