I am so sorry for the loss of your son. I didn’t know about it until I just watched this lesson. My prayers are with you and your family. I also lost my daughter and know the constant pain that comes when losing a child. I am praying for strength and healing for you and your family🙏🏻

Wow!! I say it often but this is my new favorite lesson! I need to watch this over and over. The more I paint the harder it is to keep my brush out of the white paint. I think I’ll use your idea of having an off white on my palette until I need white. You’re he most amazing teacher and such a huge inspiration David! Thank you and your family for all you do!!!😊

Oh wow !! This is beautiful. I found you close to 3 years ago ,and have learnt so much. SO different to my folk art classes over 20 years ago. We were being a bit daring by sponging a little colour in the background ,but I love your backgrounds .. Now I know how to use my brown madder Thankyou so much David ❤🌹🌷

Thank you for addressing one of the toughest colors to work with. Using pure colors (one number not multiple composite numbers/colors) makes total sense!
