Since many of Katya's students and followers are all over the world and can’t travel during pandemics, Katya decided to make an instructional video, available for download.

Thank you, Patty. I might do another video with a voice commentary in a future when I have more time. Putting it all together is a long process, and I am a busy artist, instructor and mother... Meanwhile, I am recording my step by step process as I work in my studio or back yard and share it with other artist and my students. Hope they are helpful.

Thank you for your comment. I have been recording many videos in my studio this year. Hopefully I’ld find time to edit and upload them soon. I am thinking about including instructions as well. It is a time consuming process, and I don’t have enough of it these days. Got to take care of my dependents first.

Erma Auxter , Thank you very much. I have a tiny garden in the city but there are plenty of inspirational flowers growing here in spring. Now I am painting wisteria, that reached a roof of my 3-story house. Eden rose tree is about to bloom. hydrangea bush barely survived this winter but I hope it would bloom soon.

why do you wear gloves for painting?
I am trying to protect my skin from toxic chemicals, like lead and cadmiums.
@@KatyaHeld and are you wearing gasmask too to deal with solvents? Solvents inhaled are far more toxic than paint itself on the skin.
@@ComradeMorlac , I use orderless mineral spirits that are less toxic. No need for mask, since I paint outdoors.
