    I really hope these guys blow up. TAG is the best grading company ive ever come across. Not only do they put the slab in a sleeve, they make it extra fun by putting them in foil packs. The breakdown they do on each card to show how they came up with the grade including picture scans is just out of this world amazing.

    Makes you wonder about Beckett's and spa's grading . 7.5 and 10 is a huge difference

      @ItsPandaYouTubeYT ปีที่แล้ว +4

      theyre all pretty inaccurate. these companies are grading thousands of cards a day and go throigh them quickly, not to mention they have to look for damanges and things and grade it, ultimately resulting usually in inaccurate grades, thats why TAG is really really nice

    • @Hockeistguyalive
      @Hockeistguyalive ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ummm you realize Tag uses a still image to grade their cards. Hence you’re not getting an actual grade on the card itself. Most defects show up when holding at a particular angle. Nobody is buying those Tag gimmick slabs. Stop being a sucker.

      @@Hockeistguyalive LOL. ur big mad for no reason, TAG uses super high resolution image scans that can pic up anything on the card, surface scatches, print lines, edge issues, corner dings, ect. Computers will always be better than the human eye and human capabilities. Enjoy your PSA10’s that we’re probs once a PSA9 or even PSA8 cause that’s how fucking inconsistent they are😂. You’re gonna look back at this comment and realize how stupid you look in the years to come. PSA, Beckett, and others will all start to slide and technology will take over, it’s happened in every industry what makes you think this one’s special😭

      @@HockeistguyaliveThis is incorrect information. We use a technology called Photometric Stereoscopic Imaging, it is all about capturing many images under different lighting conditions. You are correct that you cannot grade a card under a single lighting condition with a single image capture, which is why we don’t do that at all. We have been developing this system for over 10 years and it is multi patented.

    I’d love to see the reports on the cards. Always good to see clarifications and transparency in how grading is done. I just got some cards back from PSA which were pre-screened (my last order was all 10s) and I got a bunch of 8s, many 9s and no 10s. Makes me wonder if PSA’s expansion has caused them to have consistency issues in their grading structure.

    I've been curious about TAG for awhile now. I've only delt with Beckett and have been very happy with them. Congratulations on the grades you got and I hope you are happy with them and your overall experience. I'm definitely not an expert when it comes to grading so I'll reserve judgment on TAG until I can see them in hand. Thanks for sharing your results.

    Very cool video!!! The best TAG submission and unboxing video I’ve seen so far on TH-cam. Just stared into cards and I haven’t gotten any hockey yet but I’ll eventually get some of my Oilers.

    I knew BGS was butchering platinum grades. Have seen a ton of modern platinum cards with low surface grades like what they gave your Kaprizov. BGS is a joke. I am glad you got a proper grade on that card! it's a beauty!

    It seems like cards that would 10 at PSA or SGC get 9s so why would people submit unless their card is nearly flawless?

    Not a big grader or buyer of graded, but I would use TAG if do. Some actual technology involved to offset human error. I have seen way too many PSA 10's that should not have been for me to have any confidence in them. Seems to be their new thing is under-grading too much.
