You mention in the video that you would provide some instructions for removing the Polaris expansion anchors; didn't see it in this video; do you have another video or can you provide some instructions for removal
I’m glad I watched this video! I have the same Polaris rock sliders and hate the way they mount! I’ll be buying this hardware from Houser Racing! Thanks for the info!!
Thanks! Waited for 6 months for my Extreme Kick-Out sliders from Polaris, p/n 2879456. Got looking at the directions and their mounting system and put the brakes on. Leaned them up in the corner and there they sit. Gun shy about getting anymore Polaris accessories. Your video may be a solution to their weak system.
Any one have these rock sliders and not a fan of them? I have heard they hold a ton of mud in them and it is really hard to get the mud out. Is this true or is there little drain areas for the mud to go?
I went ahead and ordered the stock Polaris hardware from Amazon, 30+ bucks for 4, I was out in the garage tonight and got to thinking about it, I used some vise grips and pulled the expandable sleeves out of the frame rail, used a small extendable magnet and fished out all three of the threaded inserts, bent the tabs back on the sleeves to the point where I could push the threaded inserts back into the sleeves, just used them like they were new again, worked perfect, now i'm stuck the new ones, might come in handy later, who knows
Trail Joe did all 3 of your holes align correctly? On those junk Polaris bolts mine did not align. With the houser bolts did you have a problem with alignment?
Anyone have a bad experience getting the bolts into the frame holes? Bought the expansion bolts for rocker sliders and not one of them will fit in any hole… hole just barely too small or bolt end too large. I am second owner and nothing has been installed in these holes previously.

What size hood did you use to mount the l bolts
What size and length are these to make
Where would you get them would the dealer have them ??
Thanks for sharing, this is such a better idea IMO!!
I also thought about those threaded rivots.
Can you give me the stock number so I can order this hardware?
