Can you show me how to adjust the pilot? My flame seems to be a little large. I took a can of air and opened it up and blew all the air out because my friend says that's possibly one thing that causes the flame to burn high. As I'm looking at it now. It has a blue flame but the very tip of it looks a little peach colored and it is higher than I would like it. So if you could show me I don't have the same one that you do. I have a gas heater but I think it is all about the same. Your inner workings looked about even with mine when it comes to the igniter at all
I would make sure the ignighter is clean and secured with bracket, with sand paper or steel wool clean the ignighter and bracket. If failed to spark, replace the ignighter, less than $10 to replace
Mine ignites but when I release the button to turn it up to low or med, it goes out. I’ve tried holding it down on pilot for 30 seconds and even a minute before releasing to turn and it still goes out. What am I doing wrong? Please help!
I would say the first step is to do it for two minutes . If it is extremely cold it may need to be held longer . The second step would be to adjust the sensor into the flame more -by unscrewing the screw and adjusting it . If both of those fail. I would replace the sensor.
You need to push the down and trigger the igniter. Keep pushing the knob down with the pilot lit for 15-20 seconds should see a blue pilot flame ~1 inch high. The sensor needs to see the temperature of the pilot flame, if the sensor does not see the heat of the pilot, the main gas valve will not turn on

How far off the floor should it be placed?
Does the black button have to be on man or auto
Thanks, very helpful👍
Where do you buy glo warm anymore?
Or did they go out of business??
Is there something I need to clean to get the pilot and spark to work?

My knob won't turn, just turns on pilot and off. Wont turn to light all the way up, but it will ignite.
