I would love to see a weightlifting video. I totally agree with being VI in a public gym. Horrible! I have a setup in my house and only do compound lifts-squat, deadlift, bench, ohp, pullups.
Interesting video as always. How did the team do the endurance side as compared to your own training for example, I know you have used the treadmill in the past, but did you use the assault bike and do more HIIT session rather than low level steady state sessions, moving slowly on a bike all rower? where the Japanese judo players all cited or did you fight against visually impaired Japanese judo players?
We didn’t really do much endurance training whilst we were there. I did one session on a running track where we were just doing sprints. I did not find any visually impaired Udoka, despite Japan, being a very accessible country, visually impaired people don’t seem to do a lot of sport, there aren’t many visually impaired Udoka in Japan
@@BlindJudoJourney thanks for your reply it’s nice that you have been quite open about your improvement during the camp. A friend of mine lived in Japan and he found that there was quite a lot of superstition about blind people amongst the older Japanese community.
Great to hear about your experience in Japan. The summers there really do get crazy hot. Good work man!
