@@cameron9292 here in America, there are states that don't require helmets. Ambulances and firefighters show up to this accidents with sponges not stretchers. Keep the road/traffic going from slippery brain slush
@@sleepyjoeisnotlegit Yea I live in one of those states, but I always wear my helmet. Dad was a firefighter/first responder for a decade, he's seen his fair share of deaths. Still doesn't explain why only sport bike riders get criticized for not wearing gear, when every other motorist doesn't. Maybe it's just our community, because we know ride harder than others?
@@cameron9292I would say it's because the majority of riders being stupid on the road are sport bike riders, I'm guilty of it myself, but you do make a good point. Hitting the pavement at high speeds is the same if you fall from a sports bike or a cruiser.

The engine heat is awful, the electronics sucks , the rear brake loose its strength after a while … but for sure it is a fantastic motorcycle …be ready to visit often the Ducati services

If I had hundreds of thousands or more of expendable income, yes I would buy it. But as a lone bike no. Dry clutch is meant for racing and not a daily or even weekly unless you have even more money to drop on replacing the clutch often.
Saw some guy with some kind of red ducati sportbike park right in front of the doors to the gym like between the pillars closer to the curb. Saw him as I walked out one day. Had the bike on for like 10 minutes before he finished scrolling on his phone. Had his basketball shorts. t-shirt, all red shoes and socks to match. Did not even wear a helmet or gloves. Also in AZ so the heat at 70+ mph cooks you. So to me the minimum should be some kind of pants, shoes of some kind, gloves and helmet. You may not be dressed for the slide, but at least you have a helmet for your head and vision and gloves to keep consistent grip on the controls. So long as you are responsible and aware, you should avoid most possible accidents.
The guy also kept revving his engine before even taking off in front of the doors to the gym. Then when he finished his 30 seconds of revving he took off in the parking lot. Stayed in 1st and probably hit like 40mph. Meanwhile I park off to the side by a bike rack where most other motorcycles park with my grey r6.
Let it run for a minute then carefully go though the parking lot. Specifically because I have almost been hit by people not caring about ROW or stopping at intersections within it. Did in endo cause some red mustang went 40+ after turning a corner at an entrance down the line, cutting a white van and me off while crossing. Both of us just kind of looked at each other, like what just happened? Had I not stopped I would've hot the driver's door. Had I not stopped at the intersection prior I would've gotten t-boned or my rear wheel nailed. Its in everyday occurrence at this parking lot it seems as I always see other cars turning without stopping in front of me or just keep going. Even when there is an actual stop sign.
The V4 S doesn't have a dry clutch. I completely agree on the riding gear though.
