Further Rolling Stones albums I'd recommend:
    "The Rolling Stones, Now!" 1965
"Out Of Our Heads" UK 1965
    "Aftermath" UK 1966
    "Between The Buttons" UK 1967
    "Steel Wheels" 1989
"The London Years" 3 CD singles set 1989
    Or: "Hot Rocks" 1971 and
    "More Hot Rocks" 1972
"The Brussels Affair" 1973 live album
    "El Mocambo 1977" live album
    "Hampton Coliseum" 1981 live album
(much better than "Still Life" from 1982)
    "Stripped" 1995 live album
("Totally Stripped" features three full club shows + a highlights CD)

    Great video. My top 5:
    Sticky Fingers
    Let It Bleed
    Some Girls
    Beggars Banquet
    Exile on Main St.
I think their first album is one of the best r&b albums of those years and very underrated too.

Love the Some Girls.album. A good variety of songs. The singles box set is a treasure you can listen on TH-cam as you know

'Let It Bleed' is a def. 10 for me. I agree about the lacklustre CD packaging. You'd have thought a band so big and influential, for so long, would deserve far better treatment.

Good video. You have a nice little collection. For your next albums I would recommend for earlier albums - Between the Buttons and their debut and for later - Voodoo Lounge and Bridges to Babylon, but I like all their albums. My favourites are Exile on Main St and Beggars Banquet. In fact, I might choose Exile as my favourite album of all time.(some food for thought... or video 👍). Two underrated albums are Their Satanic Majesties Request and Dirty Work. I say those two because they are usually bottom on most lists. Cheers

Satantic and Aftermath were my most recent pick ups. I love both! I still need Inbetween The Buttons. My favorite albums are Beggar, Sticky Fingers, Let It Bleed, Exile, Goats Head, Aftermath, In Between, Satanic and Live on Air which has some realy good versions of their early songs. I need to hear their later stuff as I only own Vodoo Lounge.

I’ve always had a soft spot for Steel Wheels. And I adore Bridges To Babylon. Emotional Rescue has some great songs, Sticky Fingers is perfect.

Since you have a new appriecation for Emotional Rescue, I say go and get Undercover again. It's a good album that is without a true rockin anthem but has all the elements that make them great. Another cool thing to do is see it for what it was in their trajectory. It really should be heard in the context of following Emotional Rescue and not Tattoo You as its the next true album following those sessions, since Tattoo You was a collection of left overs from various sessions. I love the edgy, eclectic mix of the marerial of Undercover. The Pain of Love is like a cross between tumbling dice and miss You. A very drum heavy album with lots of guitars layered through. Ooh and make sure you sit back and read the lyrics to this gem as you go through the album. It. Will really enhance things.

For the albums before Satanic Majesties, I love the debut, Now!, Aftermath and Between the Buttons. Between the Buttons doesn’t seem to get talked about enough, IMHO. As far as much later ones, I like Blue and Lonesome and A Bigger Bang. One of my favorite songs, along with Moonlight Mile, is Time Waits for No One on It’s Only Rock and Roll. There was a 60’s b-side collection I loved that I had on cassette in the 1980’s called No Stone Unturned. It had Sad Day, Who’s Driving My Plane?, and Child of the Moon, all favorites of mine.

As much as I love Exile on Main Street, Sticky Fingers is my favorite. It has my favorite deep cut of the Stones: Dead Flowers.

You need to check Aftermath and Between The Buttons Larry, they are awesome albums!

“It’s only Rock n Roll” deserves a deeper listen
Yes the band are getting a little frayed around the edges, but there are still 10 great songs on this album.
“Out of our Heads” (US) is a classic from ‘65, much better than the (UK) version
“Black and Blue” is a gem that should have been longer!
Listen to “Beggars Banquet” and “Let it Bleed” UP LOUD!!!
“Undercover” from ‘83 is a grower
Hot Rocks and Big Hits (High Tide & Green Grass) are superb compilations

You can't go wrong with the Rolling Stones. I have a hard time ranking albums but The Rolling Stones are an easy top 10 band for me. My fave period for them extends back to their 60s catalog. I finally saw them in concert back when they did the Steel Wheels tour. Great job as always, Larry. 😊

Hi Larry I disagree on its only Rock n Roll. fingerprint file, its only rock n roll, short and curlies, aint to proud to beg. To me there are none better 10 out of 10. give it another chance it is special. Black and Blue, love you live and under cover are well worth having as well as anything before Satanic Majesties, like Aftermath, Flowers, 12x5, out of our heads. This is my favorite band and I have most of their music worth having. I am good with the basic packaging and don't care if there are bonus tracks.

Absolute best, for me, are Beggar's Banquet and Exile On Main Street. Their Satanic Majesties Request is grossly underrated, and Aftermath has to be my favourite early one, and the first where Mick and Keith wrote all the songs. Goats Head Soup is another underrated record. I almost forgot Between The Buttons - another which deserves more attention! Yes, post Tattoo You I don't think the albums stand up well to repeated listens. They kind of sound like The Stones, but after initial listens there's not a lot to go back to. They are very hollow
