New to your channel. I have had violets since I was a little girl. My grandmother got me started with them. I was always told never to get water on the leaves so I never knew about disinfecting them like that. I would have thought that would have killed them with the water on them. I am glad to have seen this. I love to learn knew things about my violets. Thank you for this info.
Greetings! I'm expecting an AV via mail this week. If I remember correctly, in a prior video I believe you stated that an AV (received via mail) should be isolated for about 2 weeks prior to grooming (due to shock). Should the leaves and topsoil be sprayed with insecticidal soap (even if there are no pests I can see) - then placed in isolation (maybe in a zip loc bag for about 2 weeks) then groom after the 2 weeks?
