Tatiana said in an interview that this album is a road map to understanding Tati. Even the band didn't know some things she felt. There's a direct correlation to the pressure she feels for procrastinating lyric writing for the album to the last second. Her bandmates pursue her, pressure her. The bullets (sharp words) at them do nothing, but then she throws "her art" (metaphor for the lyrics they want) at them and they go away. The wolf story (below) is critical to understanding her internal conflicts as displayed by the wolf art. Thank you, Tati, for giving us a glimpse into your world. Lol, I wasn't expecting the conversation to turn into such a heated cookie debate. I definitely lean towards baked with sugar cookie dough. This album is so good and while Jinjer has become more progressive they do it in a way that still has a nice flow to it. This song and Vortex are probably the least aggressive of the album, or at least have the most build where they ease you into it.
Thank you! I’m glad you’re on my side with the cookie debate (Frankie) 😂 And I agree wholeheartedly. Their sound is evolving and they’re trying new things without losing the core of their sound.
Well, you should know by now that every Jinjer song is a rollercoaster journey whatsoever. Actually, rollercoaster is not really right because every rollercoaster comes back somehow to the start - Jinjer does not. Yeah! 🤘😁 If Bach, Beethoven or Grieg lived today and had their own band, they probably would write something like Jinjer songs. Eh... and concerning cookies...? 👀 ... ... ... Well, I simply don`t care...😂
@@AppleJuiceEnt I see. In that case the image you used was misleading and I was purely commenting based on that. We don't have those brands where I live. Anyhow, I prefer to eat my cookies baked. Just my two cents. Edit: this song and the whole album is fire!
BAKE THE COOKIES ALREADY!!! Raw cookie dough is gross! Lol y’all are nuts. Jinjer is the bomb! Thanks for a great reaction! 😆 P.S. I’d pay cash money to see you go to Maryland and whoop him for his blasphemy! Lol
Cookie dough is better, but I love me some baked cookies. I like when they're like half baked too, not too crunchy not too soft. Gotta make em real small like cereal and use some egg whites as milk and get swole. "Kimono dawg". I don't really dig Jinjer, just doesn't do it for me. It's okay, but not something that tickles my fancy. Her first screams were nasty tho. That bass line was sick tho, bass solo's/riffs underrated.
Fun Stuff! A hauntingly beautiful video, and song full of symbolism!
Eugene makes a perfect evil ringleader. 😂

What kind of Neanderthal heathen *doesn't bake* cookies?! LOL
Anyhoo.... glad y'all are enjoying the new Jinjer songs. :)
If they ever put instruments on the auction block, the ricochets will add much to the value!!!!!!

Beethoven Mel thing faces one song at a time 😂
Doesn't it clearly say "PLEASE DO NOT EAT RAW COOKIE DOUGH" on the tin?
Not anymore, they have a new recipe that came out this year that’s safe to eat raw.
