This video still saves lives 3 years on. Bought both of these items and couldn't read the stupid instructions that came with it. This video was all i needed to know. Thanks.
This is the best review of the Inissia I've seen. To the point, covers all the relevant facts, and very helpful in terms of knowing what to expect when operating the unit. Very well done!
I read and re-read the instructions that came with the machine. Rather, I looked at the diagrams which were extremely confusing. Your video is clearer than the official Nespresso one. I wasted two pods in the process. Thanks.
Don't throw out the used capsules!!! Nespresso has a very easy to use recycle program. I use the mail in envelop they provide. There is no cost to the mailing.

Just found this Nespresso machine at a local thrift store for 5.99. It looked barely used so I brought it home and sanitized it and did the first use procedure. I found a 10 pack of off brand capsules for 3.99 and it works like a champ. I agree with your excellent review!
If the Inissia which is made from plastic and the pixie which is made from aluminium has the same price, then you should rather buy the pixie? Here in Germany they cost the same right now
Great video very helpful. Do you find after doing a cleaning cycle to clean the machine after use. That you get water in the drip try under the capsule holder I get about 2 table spoons of water is this normal?
Does it use the whole capsule in one use or can i keep the capsule in the machine and use it again? How will i know when the capsule is fully used and when to replace it ?
Aside from where and who anyone is, I think coffee is very personal. There’s no “you should” I feel cause every region is different? Coffee is coffee 🤷🏻♀️
I think she means the temperature of the coffee is good to drink immediately. Espresso might turn cold after make milk form. I just order this machine. Can’t wait !
@@naylor041 I have the same issue! I've lost at least 6-7 capsules so far and they're garbage after that, nothing I do will make them usable even though all the coffee is still inside and hasn't been used. I intend to contact Nespresso about this

Hi Samwell, Nespresso themselves do not offer any tea pods. I see there are Nespresso compatible Tea pods being sold online so they may work, but I'm not sure. You can check them out here: amzn.to/2niZiPh
There are all kinds of compatible pods. I even saw ginseng drink lol. Many great coffee bean producers which makes great beans do pods for nespresso too.
I have this machine and decided to sale it. Not worth buying these capsules they are to expensive and when you do the long shots the coffee tastes nasty I would always use the short shot option. You are better off with a French press in my opinion truly. The price for 12 capsules I can easily buy 1 pound bag of good coffee. I like my coffee strong and one shot does not do it for me I would use 3 capsules to satisfy me so you can just imagine how much money I would spend on these capsules.
+katlyn capps Hi Katlyn, the Inissia with frother is $199 or a bit less, the Inissia alone is $149 but you can find it on amazon for about $100 now - amzn.to/1lNR1S2 Hope that helps :)

I did too!!!! $6.99.
I'm hunting down another one... wish me luck🤞
I am about to use my machine for first time use... your review was so instructive. Thanks a lot.
Glad it was helpful 😀
You are so right about the loud noise that it makes when you start it.. but it's only when you turn it on and only for the first cup!!!
This may be one of the best instructional/reviews I have seen. Great job!
Thanks 👍
I bought my machine at the week end and am really happy with it, you have shown i in a good light.
Thanks for sharing 😀👍
I purchased this new 2yr ago but it doesn’t come with directions.
Finally, I can now ❤make delicious expresso
Enjoy 😉
Nice review. Not a good idea to use a metal spoon to extract the froth though. Teflon (non-stick coating) will be damaged. Wood or plastic is fine.
I bought it immediately after watching your review. It it so good! Thank you!
Great! Thanks 😀👍
can u plss tell me the price
Very precisely and specifically explained. To be terrific you have to be specific. Well done.
Thanks 😁
This is really a great review wonderful job. And I have the same exact machine and I love it

Galliano Marr. Nespresso app here in France December 2022 : Inissia 99€, Pixie 149€. Not exactly the same price.
Nice review! I just bought one of these machines and love it! So much better than kuerig/tassimo etc
+Paul K Thanks for sharing 😀
I stopped my frother after about 45 seconds and it had begun to burn on the bottom. Im a bit afraid to let it go a full minute and stop.
Please mention that you can recycle the pods with a prepaid envelope provided by Nespresso and not just throw them out, great review!
Do you ever use the reusable capsules?
Can you use flavored creamer for froth? I'm guessing yes, but I just want to make sure.
Chris Dube extremely late answer, but yes you can. mix half flavoured creamer and half milk for best results.

You're supposed to put the milk and foam BEFORE the coffee ;) (I'm working at nespresso)
Yes, that's the Swiss way. I have lived in Italy for many years. Coffee is always made first. Froth or hot milk added later.

What a great review!

No, only espresso 😀
Does the milk frother comes with the espresso unit?
Hi, there are two models, one with and one without frother. Links to both models are below the video in the description section 😀

What are the two max fill lines on the milk frother ?
Hi Vanessa, they are for the two different whisks :)
that little machine sure is loud!
I keep crushing the pods... any tips for how to insert them properly?
same with me. just use a flashlight for the first few times, make sure the pod faces the opening
