The problem in India is that a lot of theatres just let kids into Adult movies. Children and teenagers shouldn't be seeing such movies. Animal's success will motivate directors to make even more violent movies and more children will see it. A violent youth or a brigade of children brought up by watching such movies is the last thing India wants. Yes, there is nothing wrong in making such movies but a big amount of people still aren't educated enough to watch such movies and not let it impact their life and behaviour.

I heard a lot of bad about Dhruv Rathee, but he's actually raising the right audience. Idk if he's right on political topids but he's on point in this video. Some youtubers pretend to be kattar hindu but then fail to repsect women by saying that "women belong to kitchen, don't use too much brain, we men are the boss, we wont cook." Sandeep Reddy Vanga says that he grew up watching gangster movies but he did not become a gangster. In gangs of wassipur and Baazigar no one was glorified. The scenes weren't for shock value rather for relevant to plot. Not once I felt the characters being glorified meanwhile animal everyone is celebrating Ranvijay and Abrar's actions (insta is filled with those scenes were the comments are real alpha is back and women deserve to be treated like this to remove feminist disease). That is the difference. You can make and show vile stuff without glorifying it.Anurag Kashyap never supported the actions being done in the film but the great Sandeep Reddy gave interviews supporting the actions done by his lead character. I saw it today on netflix. The violence was extremely unnecessary. Anil kapoor's depiction of a dumb dad is extremely annoying. He could not understand how to talk to his son. Ranbir on the other hand is a psychopath son. It was such a waste of time. There was not a single scene that hits your heart. It was just about intimate scenes and just some damn cruel action.

This Film was a new experience. This never felt like any movie I watched before. The Cinematic Screenplay and Editing was Dope. Ranbir Kapoor's acting along with Anil Kapoor, Rashmika, they all did a great job. The Plot of this movie was not new, but kinda interesting the way they tried to show the animal instinct of a Human Being. Ranbir or The RanjVijay himself behaves like an animal. That's very impressive. See there's a saying,
"If a man cannot control his anger or if a woman cannot control her sexuality, they're no different from Animals"
But wait a minute, these was only the positive things I could express about this film. If I have 10 positive things to talk about this movie, I have 200 Negatives to talk about this Particular movie.
DISCLAIMER : If you're very fond of Mass Masala films or if you are Ranbir's Diehard fan, you might get offended.
The Biggest Negative of this movie is the director himself. Yes, I might sound dumb, but this is my honest opinion. The direction of this film was PATHETIC AS HELL. 3 Hours, 21 minutes was way too lengthy for a film which doesn't have much of an amazing content as such. This film was more like the director fulfilling his imaginary desires and depicting how a man should be. He expresses that a man should be "Alpha-Male" and if you're not, then you're not a man.
And Yes, this same Alpha-Male promises his wife that he'll never betray her. He'll always be with her.
Also him: Proceeds to cheat her with Zoya in the 2nd half 🤡🤡
FIRST HALF REVIEW: I'll give 6 out of 10 🌟
The first half had great scenes especially the College scene and the Pajero Chase scene. It felt like it was inspired from Kabir Singh. It was okay. Then this Business debate with Jeeja shows Ranbir's Awesome Acting Skills. The film tries to depict how much Ranvijay loves his family and how much he wants to protect them. Especially his father, from whom he didn't receive much love. He wants to win heart of his family. We understand that.
Also him after 10 mins : leaves his family and goes to U.S and never even did a phone call for 8 Years... FR?
He marries Geetanjali and goes to US on a plane while doing Bing-Bong while the plane was on autopilot mode😂. It's hilarious to watch him brushing teeth, going to toilet and controlling the plane so effortlessly. Insane 🤣
Killing Jeeja scene was good, but how his brothers using fake guns and killing guards so easily pisses me off. He comes back when his dad was shot. For protecting and killing these Villians, they decides to buy weapons. The weapon he bought was Underwear and not guns. I was like WTF

Interval fight scene shows Ranbir killing 300 men so effortlessly and at the same time when he was being attacked, his brothers start Singing CHABBI CHADEYAAA, ARJAN VELLIYEEEEE..... I was like WTF did I just watch🤣🤣🤣. These Brothers left their own families to protect RanVijay's family but they end up singing stupid songs while holding Guns instead of protecting RanVijay.
So Ranvijay kills many masked men so effortlessly and these men get themselves killed LOL. Then there is this Grenade scene. When the Bad guys throws grenade, they will not BLOW unless these Brothers throw them back. Then this one grenade blows and Ranvijay flies and lands. Gravity Left the Chat.
2ND HALF REVIEW: 1 out of 10🌟
All his organs are destroyed and he needs heart transplantation which has 1% Success rate. He gets fat and less energetic. All of a sudden he had heart donor and survived. Who did that? It's not ZOYA and When he got the Donor? NO Answer! Still it is a 3hr,21 min movie.
In the 2nd half, he injures the back of Geetanjali with her bra strap and he himself treats her with medicine. WTF?😆😆
Then Rashmika yells to her parents that Ranvijay is her father, mother, brother BLA BLA Everything. Again it makes 0 sense.
After all these, Ranbir Proceeds to have S*X with Zoya not knowing that the heart he had was not of her Fiance. But still he proceeds to make love with her again and again. He is such a fool Alpha Male that he gets a 200 Year old Saree to give it to Zoya to marry her. When she denied and said she's one of those bad guys, Ranbir says' I ALREADY KNEW IT. That's why I Did all this with you.

This is ALPHA MALE according to director. Toxic Masculinity and Anti-Alpha Male behavior. After knowing about Swastik Steel business relations of family, he decides to kill his cousin, ABRAR who has 3 wives and also his dad had 3 wives of which Abrar was eldest son. Ranbir tried to have 2 wives, but Unfortunately, he could only have one. 🤣🤣 He confesses with her wife about sleeping with Zoya and in thats scene, Rashmika's acting was top notch. That's her best performance ever.
Ranvijay and his Singer brothers goes to Scotland and ends up fighting with Abrar on an Airstrip to kill Abrar. The thing is I watched 2nd show this film at 9:30 PM at the theater. It was already getting late to sleep but the shirtless fight was still going with Music ON/OFF/ON/OFF for 10 minutes. Then the climax scene comes finally.
After all these killing and hardwork, what did he get?
Balbir Singh will live for 6 more months only. WASTED!! Everything was wasted.
I could have given 0 out of 10 stars for 2nd half, but I gave 1🌟WHY?

The problem is not the misogyny or violence itself. There is no problem in having these elements in a movie. It's the fact that it is shown in an acceptable light. It is the protagonist of the film who's acting out on these traits and not the villain. If the majority are rooting for the character of Ranbir in this film, you know it's a problem.
The problem is that why are u cherry picking some creators only. Also morality varies from people to people. There are people who love these things and some don't. If u want a stable happy society, don't force your morals on others, but make small society's with like minded people. If you force people of different mentality to live together there will be harm.
