🚄 INFORMATION KEY
Train Numbers - e.g. 43032 or 800110 - These are train numbers which are specific to that train. No trains can be numbered the same. Locos are 5 digit numbers where the first two numbers are the class of train e.g. 67010 would be a class 67. Multiple Units are 6 digit numbers where the first three numbers are the class of train e.g. 390154 would be a class 390. Click Here to learn more

Headcodes - e.g. 1F32 or 5M00 - These are used by the railway signallers to determine where trains are on the network. Every train within a region has a specific four code ID. Click Here to learn more
➤ en.wikipedia.o...
Set Number - e.g. WB64 or NL04 - These are semi-permanent loco hauled coach formations which are kept together for formalities. The first two letters usually indicate the maintenance depot responsible e.g. OC is Old Oak Common, LA is Laira. The number indicates the rake number.
🚄 ABOUT ME
Hello everyone, I’m StarlifeStudios and my passion is to experience and video railway stations across the United Kingdom at both small and large locations, but, with an informative twist! My videos are also designed as a historical reference for the days of the past and to reminisce about the way things were. Join me as I continue to travel and be sure to let me know if you’d like me to video at your favourite or local station.
Bit of shorter video this week. This video kicks off a North Wales video series including many of your favourites. Enjoy!
Hope to see u at valley soooon wooo
Are you going to Severn Tunnel Junction in this series?
Yes
Like the way the final Manchester Airport service was announced as it was pulling away.
@@davidpanton3192 I noticed a lot of this during my time in Wales. They had very little idea where the train was. It would say ‘approaching’ when leaving and would state ‘delayed’ when on time. I believe it’s because this is all semaphore signalled.
Thank you for uploading this video, hope life's treating you well 😊😊
I’m doing good thanks Love Five ⭐️. Hope you are too! Autumn is coming and I’m not looking forward to the colder weather. I am looking forward to filming some more RHTTs and charter trains though 😃👍🏻 Thanks for your awesome support.
@@StarlifeStudios keep well.
Nice video! Loved seeing the 197s and 158s!
Great video as always! 👍
Great Video Ross as always! Your videos are really really great, and this one is no exception 🚝
Great video as always! Short but sweet :)
Nice video, mate! I like the CAF-Civity trains and the electric or battery-electric version of STADLER-Flirt trains of the operator Transport for Wales.
Nice video as always! I do wonder what camera you use to film with that zoom?
If you are doing a whole Wales Series, I've got another local station Quite near the border but in England ( Up towards Gloucester from Severn Tunnel Junction) called Lydney. There isn't too many different trains because it's mostly TFW Class197 and CC Class170 with around 2/3 Class 66s throughout the day. It's only 2 platforms but if you stand on platform 1 you can see down towards Gloucester for about 0.5 miles and on the other side you can only see towards the level crossing. Hope you visit here in the future!
It’s only a north wales series at the moment, I plan to do a south wales series soon 😃👍🏻 I’m sure a lot of the units you’ll see in the north are in common with the south though! Thanks for your interest in my channel 😃
@@StarlifeStudios Okay, thanks for telling me!
Bro, all the 197s look so squeaky clean 🫧
Apart from the back of the first one... That poor pigeon
Great train video ross which station you're going to flim at
Nice one Ross underrated station it might be a bit quiet, but it is worth the wait. The traction is decent nice to see the 805s make a appearance on the channel! Thank for sharing!👍
You should definitely go to Llanharan to spot and go when baglan bay-chirk kronospan is running, you wont regret it
good classc 197 spotting
Great video.
Thanks!
great video mate and your super underatted btw! Would love to see trains at birmingham international someday
My Stepdad works around there! 🥳
_(for NR)_
Good video! Can you come to Swansea Next?
@@olivianarmy It won’t be the next video but Swansea is definitely on my radar! Thanks
@@StarlifeStudios thanks for replying!
the first train it sounds like it has a gearbox like the driver is switching gears
thats just the trains engine, its an automatic transmission, same as the 195s at northern and 172s at west midlands railway, zf ecolife hydromech if that helps
@@leafshine. no i was just wondering why the train engine sounds like a truck that's switching gears but thx for the explanation
Please come to West Wales, places like Swansea, Llanelli and Carmarthen
Excellent video Ross!! Some decent variety there and nice to see a 158 still going up there! Do hope that now you are in North Wales this means Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch will feature soon!!
Seems you've done a new video cool but can you do Worcestershire parkway next
@@Train_Mine I have not yet filmed at Worcestershire Parkway. Due to the low variety, I would have to plan this in the Autumn ideally with a test train or charter train. I will see what I can do for you.
Ok thank you
noooooooooooooo that poor pidgeon 😭😭😭😭
I was just here yesterday
Is it possible you could do vids from outside Britain, e.g. Republic of and/or Northern Ireland?
You would think someone at Llandudno would be able to clear the dead birds from the front and rear ends of the units, guess that’s asking far too much!
Was that a pigeon on the back of that 197??
@@majesta24 It appears to be yes!
😅😅😅
Apparently, this was his posthumous trip.
Good video, I'm just curious, What are you going to do for 20k subscribers?
I actually don't have any plans! Do you have any thoughts? Thanks for your support. 😃
I’m so early
Sawe
What camera do you use to film?
can you do gatwick or pengewest
You've been monetized? I got something to give you in later videos🙏😂
As always, how do you decide what station to visit?
Thanks, Its usually a mixture of things. This one was picked because of the great angles on either side, curved platforms which makes nice shots and the fairly large nature of the town of Colwyn Bay and Conwyn. I have some more on this route coming as well.
@@StarlifeStudios yes, I must admit the station did look good with the curve platforms etc…
@thenoworriesnomad sometimes there is method to my madness!
@@StarlifeStudios Hey, if your method and madness work, then who are we to argue....👍
