The Lodge Card Club is a members-only social club in Round Rock, Texas (just north of Austin). With 24/7 cash games and 2+ tournaments per day, The Lodge is THE place to play poker in central Texas. The Lodge Live is streamed every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday at 3PM CT.

One day The Lodge may even host players like Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey, or similarly huge poker names.

Airball is such a typical LA narcissist. Every statement out of his mouth is either a name drop or subtle reference to how cool or successful he is. This is how people in the LA scene communicate with each other. It’s a non-stop verbal competition of trying to one-up everyone or prove/convince each other that they are superior or important. It’s usually 90% bullshit and incredibly sad. You’ll notice the real ballers like Keating never act this way, that’s how you know they’re the real deal.

The check on the turn by Brown Balla was horrible. Second ace makes it less likely OP has one, and since you already basically repped it on the flop, you should be value betting the turn heavily. Could have got the gut shot straight to fold.

The guy with the short crew cut is like an endless flow of rambling conversation, whatever clip you watch from whatever day. There should be at least some table etiquette to understand people don't want to hear you ramble on constantly while trying to focus on wagering thousands of dollars. Being stuck next to him in a tournament would be annoying. If a cash game, pick up and go to another table.

With two overcards, how do you call? Glad he folded, but I still contend you won't see many of these players after a couple years. The ones you see playing 10 years later are not using their own money.
He bets 900 into a pot of 3700 (25%), giving Brad a reasonable price to continue. Not only that but Brad knows that Balla is betting there with all his range and didn't necessarily have to have an Ace or King (which he didn't) to bet, meaning he can get him off of hands such as QQ, JJ, TT, 99 etc if he continues in position.
Once Balla checks turn, Brad takes the lead, knowing that he can rep an Ace or King and barrel off on a blank river and get him to fold better. I guarantee you if the river wasn't a ten Brad would of fired a 3rd bullet anyways, he just got lucky so value bet instead.
