Doug is the reason why the Lodge's players never want to play in different poker rooms. And if they do, they often lose like Efen. Alex is the one never leave the Lodge because this place is like his ATM.
Genuinely love watching the Lodge! After all the controversies at other places like Hustler, I would much rather watch the Lodge livestreams 100% of the time
idk... to me, lodge streams are boring... most players are not interesting at all. and players like taras are simply unlikable... the only time when lodge streams are interesting - when they have guest stars like airball, perkins, etc...

Doug re-raises every hand preflop, and raises again when he gets re-raised even if it takes his whole stack. And he keeps getting his ass handed to him. I don't know when he came up with this brilliant strategy but I would probably rethink it at this point if I were him.

yeah alex has really impressed me. he's the best player at any table he sits at in my opinion. his reading skills are incredible. that hand he played against doug when he had Q3 vs 10's is a good example showing how good alex really is.
tbh like im not a doug fan or hater but he really needs to adjust his a4ss a5ss range against players like alex who will not only give action with the bottom of their range but always the top, so actually in theory especially out of pos you should just be calling to a 3 bet because 99% of the time alex isnt folding and ur going to be playing a larger pot out of POS against a sticky good player.
That’s an interesting 3-barrel in a 5-bet pot… so Doug reps AA & KK here … what does Alex do if turn is a T not the J I wonder … it’s probably a fold on river
If you don't understand poker it probably does all look the same. Some people try to learn more, other people post comments that expose their own ignorance. Both are entertaining in their own way, so thanks for the laugh. (edit: spelling)
What is Doug representing? No straight (until river) and no flush. 2 pair? A set? Shouldn't you represent a nutted hand when fluffing your stack? Doug is one of the most talented players ever, but this hand got away from him.
Doug doesn't realize it seems that ranges for HU games are completely different than full ring. He's always taking these really good spots with hands in HU and taking it to the house and always getting smoked. I saw this knowing this man is WAY richer and live a life I'm not familiar with but being objective it seems that way. I play $1/$2 baby!
If Doug had had the nuts, (T,Q) then his previous bets wouldn't have made much sense. Yes, he was up against a monster, but I think it was just bad play.
@@ronellharvey7703 OK, that could have made sense, but he didn't have it - and it might be stretch to think that his opponent would put him on it. But you make a good point!
