Using the Rosewoods for around 3 weeks now and I'm so happy picking these up. I do feel they even got better in the last days as if they have a "break in" time
Just my personal recommendation but for future videos you really should put the silent switch options at the end of sound tests since they differ so greatly in sound, that way we can compare the standard switch sounds side by side more easily. Other then that, awesome video!
Typing on rosewoods that I bought from you Milktooth.. these switches unlock true linear power. Even with different keycaps, the sound takes on subtle yet amazing differences. Videos cannot do this switch any justice in my opinion. The thock is a deep thump like the patter of a rabbits foot, wearing rubber boots, walking over a bamboo bridge. Oh and I use extra lube ;)
Do Akko switches perform well in the long run? I've had my 5075B board with v3 cream yellow pro switches for a little over a year now, and I've only used it for writing and light gaming (occasional FPS, some minecraft, absolutely no rhythm games) yet 2 switches have died on me. It's fine because I got a few spare switches with the keyboard and they work fine when I replaced the old ones, but I'm wondering if it's a common experience.
A request I notice a general trend towards linear, creamy and "thocky" switches with everyone on youtube but i personally really like a nice full, not shrill but clicky sound; something like kailh box whites or navys with a good dampening mod. Can you please make a video going over your best clicky switches with a sort of denser sound. Thank you again for your content, Greatly appreciated
Rosewoods are cheaper. Oil Kings are heavier. Oil Kings kill RGB, while Rosewoods adds a pink tint to RGB. Oil Kings sound very slightly deeper...and the sound depends on the board. If you can get a few pcs of each, best to try them both on your board to check which one fits your preference. I went with the Rosewoods for budget reasons and I'm very happy with it.
@bryanong7754 Thanks for such a thorough explanation. I've been comparing the oil kings to the Milky yellow pro 3s and the oil king feels really nice...like a shorter throw but a heavier pressure required compared to the pros. You're absolutely right about the board that the caps knock onto and the surrounding insulation underneath changes the dynamics crazily, lots of fun experimenting 😅

Literally bought these a few days ago, review could not have come at a better time.
Yessir I bought me a 40 pack and I love the rosewoods on the Rainy 75 and the Wormier SK80
How would these compare to the Gateron Milky Yellow Pro? I'm using the MYP and they are borderline silent with PC plate and full foam.
from my own experience with rosewoods, they're way more muted than milky yellow pros on a pc plate and full foam.
I'm using it rn , and i absolutely love it
These are my current favorites. Just waiting for my Mirror and Stellar Rose to arrive and test them.
Would really appreciate you doing a review of the lightest switches out there! Big fan of a soft touch.
Nice vid mate
Would love to see what you think about the KiiBoom Matcha Latte switch
I was getting a video on my switches and magically I saw the notification. I don't see any of the things I'm looking for right now
What do you think of the operating force? Is it good or rather too light with 40g so that you accidentally press other keys?
What do you think about the new akko green fog? Have you tried them yet?

Akko Rosewoods or Gateron ink black v2 which is thockier?
I think you wouldn't go wrong with any, just pick the weight that you prefer.
Hey, you should do some sound tests and reviews on the new hall effect switches. It would be appreciated!

@ yoo thank you
Loving the videos! Just tried to look these up on the website and the search and filters do not seem to be working properly.
Fixed, thanks for letting us know!

@@milktoothnu Already in my liked. but only the white v2s have a thicker sound. Ive been struggling to find good clicky switches
Great video 👍 I'm eyeing up these rosewoods vs the oil kings. How these woods feel compared to the kings in your opinion?

Lovely video as usual!
Anyone been able to compare these to Vertex V1’s?
Almost like a nice crackling fire
Can you do a review of the MMD VIVIAN? Heard they are really good
