Thanks again for playing Twoll-light Princess Dave! 😄 I can’t believe you managed to Dave yourself into the correct solution without actually finishing the level as Link 😂. Although most people in the comments have already stated, there was a huge ‘BOMB’ written above you and a contraption showing that bombs explode spikeballs, so all you had to do was make a Link bomb and explode the rolling spikeball 😋. If you had have proceeded past there as Link, the Wisdom room would have revealed ‘DO NOT GET LINK’ - sucks we didn’t get to see your reaction to that grand reveal 😂. Also, to the inevitable comments asking ‘how did you do this!?’, there are progressive powerup setups all over the level. When you play as Link, the powerups evolve into Fire Flowers, which remain stationary and don’t activate anything. When you go through as non-Link, the powerups devolve into Mushrooms, which move around to activate certain things in the level. 🤓

@@thecrusher6668 The problem was getting rid of the rolling ball first. The conundrum was that he can either: 1. (no shield) throw a bomb, then let the ball hit him and lose clear condition or 2. (with shield) shield the ball, then throw the bomb through it, but then the ball will hit the wall first, blocking him with the muncher so he was trying to find a way to get the ball off-screen to despawn it so he could get the bomb in. idk why everyone is saying "small brain small brain" when it looks like he's thought this through a lot more than most commenters
Dave, you didn't even finish the level as link. xD Once you got to the end, the vine would NOT come down and you would have to blow up the wall on the right, which then leads to a room that tells you not to collect the master sword. You had to throw a bomb at the spike ball to blow it up
For those confused about the ending of the second level: There’s a really weird way that the game deals with red coins. As some of you may know, red coins collected before a checkpoint will always be collected, until you collect all of them and get the key. Once the key is collected, all red coins will respawn on death. Another fun fact is that you can only have up to 100 entities spawned ingame at any given time. Things like bullets blasters, enemies, and, weirdly, one way gates take up a slot, but coins and red coins don’t. However, a red coin DOES take up a slot during it’s collection animation. This allows you to make a contraption that checks if a player has collected all red coins, and _transmits that data through death._
He can't figure out how to beat the level with the Link power-up with clear hints in every section, but somehow figures out to not pick up the power-up without the hint for that.
Dave is so bad that he spoiled the level for himself..! He missed half the level!! To Dave, that was the final troll. You managed to spoil the whole level.

@@QDude24 ceave has a video on it. It's done by hitting the entity limit. First time you reach checkpoint you collect the coin before the cp, so it's gone even you respawn. This allows something else to spawn and move the launchers (think a bomb blowing up a brick). After you get the second coin, you get the key. If you then die the coins reset. Now the coin spawns when you respawn. Takes up a slot while you pick it up quickly. Prevents the bomb in part 1 from spawning by using the cap
In the second level, the red coins are the key to the ending troll. Carl explained this once in one of the levels he played. Basically, when the level first loads after a death or screen transition, red coins count towards the total number of entities for a short time. If there are a bunch of entities off screen (which there are in the CP2 area), there's some level magic that can change which pair of launchers, and hence which door, is available afterwards. Basically, when you first grab the 2nd CP from below, or when you spawn there after dying, you'll already have the red coin that starts directly below the flag. However, when you get the key and then die immediately afterwards in the room with the door/red pipe/seesaw, you WON'T have the coin when you first respawn, which fiddles with the launcher/door thing to the right, allowing you to finish the level.
7:05 *Sees a spike ball being destroyed by a bomb* “It’s like it’s trying to tell me something...” Maybe that you need to destroy the spike ball with a bomb?
How did the ending work ? It's because you collected the second red coin before dying. And when you got to CP2 again, you collected the first red coin. BUT, there is a difference between a being collected red coin and a not collected red coin. The being collected red coin counts toward the entity limit and the not collected red coin doesn't count. I decided to actually try this level out before watching this video and oh my god was it so worth it. Getting to the part where it tells you to not be Link and then going through the whole level again noticing key things was super awesome feeling.
1:37 Dave says he hasn't played a troll level without cps! If you remember in one of Dave's Super expert no skip runs he got a dgr troll level called Just Deserts which had a clear condition of kill one goombrat. I got your back Dave! ;)
The simple answer to the CP 2 bit at the end (and how most do it): The blasters hide the door. Its two doors side by side, but one is covered by blasters. When you collect the red coins and are given the key before dying, it changes how things spawn when you die and restart at CP2, spawning two different blasters a block to the side of the originals and blocking the spawns of the originals, giving access to the other door while looking nearly identical. You could tell if you counted the blocks. The other door, in this case, takes you to a nearly identical room, much like a twice twice, though some take you to an entirely different room. The details of why it spawns differently, I don't know, all I know are the red coins are literally the key. If you collect a coin, hit the checkpoint, and die you respawn with your coin. But if you then collect the other coins, getting the key, and die, the coins all respawn when you respawn. This changes the entity count and thus changes the spawns in a way that lets different blasters spawn
Dave in the second level, there's an exploit that has to do with red coins which can change things when you die. In this case, the Bullet Blasters on either side of the door get moved over revealing a different door (the pipe doesn't do anything different).
And of course that means bug reports will eventually kill it. It's still available as of this comment, but thanks to my forwarded evidence of how it works in another TH-cam video it may not last so play it while you can because by this time in the morning it will most likely be gone. (I literally used my bug report comment to direct the mods to the video explaining what happens.)

WOW. I'm lost for words. I honestly wrote the above before watching. Beautiful city baby. That check point city. Everything from 19.06 had my jaw floored too.
As many others have stated, in BIG CAPS, BLOW UP THE DAMN SPIKE BALL! I managed to do that on my 2nd attempt. Now DGR has cheesed the level thus missing out on some of the level. Reeeeee
I believe there are several slightly offscreen entities which caused the two different paths. When you first enter the area, you are forced to collect the coin before the cp so every time you respawn the coin isn't there till you die with the key. With the coin not being there, the trigger entity can spawn causing the winning path not be available. When the coin is there (besides for the first time due to how you came into that screen) the trigger can't spawn causing the winning path to be available.
it works by load order. there are 4 canons. two of them spawn when you walk onto the screen (when you first get the checkpoint) and two of them load when you jump into the middle of the screen (coming through a warp/load from checkpoint). this is done by spawn blocking with entities that either move or load earlier than the canons would do, or various other techniques.
25:20 You didn't enter through a pipe, you entered through a door. The mechanic is two launchers covering one of two doors. The first time you approach the launchers the door to the longer route is clear and the door to the end is blocked. After you die and spawn at the checkpoint, the launchers spawn one block to either side so that the opposite door is blocked while the other is clear.
I've already seen this level played, so it's ESPECIALLY hilarious seeing DGR come SO CLOSE to getting the BIG answer but gets so tripped up by the bomb thing! I'm sure you know by now, a year later, but you can bomb the rolly spike balls to get past...there is a whole section the reveals the trick at the end of the "Link path"
In that second level he actually managed to avoid the anti-softlock lol. This is why troll creators gotta be on top of the re-usability of anti-softlocks. You never know when specifically this man will somehow jump on top of a cheep cheep falling from above in a one-by-two space.
I normally hate troll levels(especially the ones where you just have to basically guess and check your way through the level), but I gotta say, that was great. very creative.
Well, that's our Dave. He missed the whole "bombs blow up spike balls" thing and cheesed the 1st level by accident, then actually proceeded to dodge several trolls the in second level. I'm not sure how that works, but hey, I'll go with it.
When you collect a red coin, for a few frames it counts as an entity. You collected the first red coin right before you got cp2, and the coin was setup to be immediately collected if you got the second red coin and died. Entity limit shenanigans can affect the on/off state, and spawnblock blasters so it appears that there is only 1 door, and not 2.
I think the setup CHASE used to change the level after death was a Ceave setup using the red coins. Brief explanation: When you collected one after the checkpoint, it temporarily takes up a spot in the ELB, and the rest of the spots are probably filled offscreen. It then prevents one additional entity from spawning, which some contraption can then detect and (I think) shift the bullet blasters over one spot to reveal a different door. It only triggers when you collect the red coin RIGHT after loading the room, so when you came in from the bottom, the contraption had already run before you collected the coin. Only after keydeaths would that room trigger.

Why don't *you* do that? Don't you have a Nintendo Switch?
Or just reeeally basic and obvious trolls and he will fall for it anyway
@@alisiaale565 Why are you saying that as if you already know he has one?
@@geo4876, are you hating me? I just asked him/she just to see if he/she has a Nintendo Switch!
@@alisiaale565 Sorry, it was just the way you wrote it.
Dave: What do I do in the spot that says Bomb in huge letters….
And everyone gives Geek the dots
Came to the comments to make sure I’m not the only one that noticed the giant “BOMB” spelled out.
Was not disappointed
Dave "I can't see it!"
Chichiri "Bruh... Is that bomb word not big enough?"
Dave: is this telling us something
Level: has BOMB written in giant letters
You can have the Master Sword, Dave. You can blow up Spike Balls with Link's Bombs.

Dave says he hasn't played a troll level without cps!
If you remember in one of Dave's Super expert no skip runs he got a dgr troll level called Just Deserts which had a clear condition of kill one goombrat. I got your back Dave! ;)
The simple answer to the CP 2 bit at the end (and how most do it):
The blasters hide the door.
Something: Exists
Nobody:
DGR: *IT'S A CITY*
Yea basically
Edward city! Crodojoe city!
You cheesed the Link level, as missed out on some good stuff. You are able to get past the spike part as Link, and find some more content afterwards.
Hey DGR! trickyruin here. Love the content and the videos!
Just wanted to thank you for the exposure of you playing my level, Ultimate Aerial Playground, had for me.
As of this week, I am the 10th highest rank Maker worldwide (:
I’ve been playing and making levels since MM1, but my levels never found too much popularity, BUT thanks in part to you playing my level, my levels are more popular, and even one of my levels is in the weekly top 20 of courses worldwide, which is insane!! So I just wanted to say thanks again for the exposure!
-Søren, aka trickyruin
First troll level: "Bomb the spiky ball!" I was actually surprised the solution was what it was in the end.
This is the best episode of the TROLLED series yet! This made me laugh so hard it was unreal. And this is on my birthday too! Made for great laughs after I woke up. Great video as always, Dave :)
100% of the comments:
-"There is a giant 'BOMB' hint!!1!1!"
Also @DGR do you read your comments at all? 😅
*he does usually but I think he feel so stupid when edits the video that make him doesn't even when to see the comment section*
99%
I’m just wondering how the thomp could move like that
No
In the last troll level at the flag pole you went to a certain place and made the cannon thingies move to the left and uncover the secret door that was hiding behind the left cannon and the right cannon covered the first door
Dave is evolving just backwards
Great level :D 10/10
To be honest i didn't expect you playing more troll levels/video
But I like it

DGR: I think it's trying to tell us something.
Me: You sure? All I see is that bombs can destroy spike balls, how's that a clue?
Sees a bomb for 0,1 sec: "Ooohh, I have to use the bomb!"
The level explicitly telling him what to do: "Yes, but what does it mean..."
"Well excuuuuse me, Chiri"
21:56 Funny thing, my child had just said Merry Christmas right before you said this. It was almost perfectly timed.
Dgr laugh hard when he gets sent back to checkpoint 1
I don't write many comments however your my favourite equal to ryucar.
I had to pause the video at the beginning because this one looks like a ripper.
I just want to say thank you for inviting me into your life and sharing yourself and your family into my life.
I used to be a gamer however I don't have time in my life to do it anymore.
I love watching you because you are bloody good and your videos release something in me about reaching the end of the goal.
I got two trolled t-shirts from Santa for Christmas and it blew my mind.
Happy 2020 and look forward to further entertainment. ❤️
WOW. I'm lost for words.
I honestly wrote the above before watching.
Beautiful city baby. That check point city.
Everything from 19.06 had my jaw floored too.

Me: Sees word BOMB
Dave: HMMMMM... How do i want to do this???
the good old days when videos were not live replays and were sooo much more enjoyable.
True
DGR: gets stuck in a troll level
Super Mario Bros 2 Music Entered the chat
BOMB, you are never gonna live this down dave... this is a WHOLE NEW LEVEL OF BLINDNESS
The greatest plot twist in all of smm history
Dave suffering while the song from the 1st level of Super Mario Bros. 2 plays in the background is my new favorite thing.
Dave: sees the end flag
Video still not halfway through
Me: grabs popcorn
As many others have stated, in BIG CAPS, BLOW UP THE DAMN SPIKE BALL! I managed to do that on my 2nd attempt. Now DGR has cheesed the level thus missing out on some of the level. Reeeeee
You could blow up the spike ball with a bomb in the first one
what a video! I loved the cp1 to cp2 trick on the 2nd troll level! I laughed so hard! Keep up your good work, Dave!
6:47 you just have to create a bomb and send it on the spike ball ! 🤣🤣
Dave : how do I want to do this
Game: BOMB
it works by load order. there are 4 canons. two of them spawn when you walk onto the screen (when you first get the checkpoint) and two of them load when you jump into the middle of the screen (coming through a warp/load from checkpoint). this is done by spawn blocking with entities that either move or load earlier than the canons would do, or various other techniques.
I cannot believe you had to stop and explain what clear conditions means in mm2
25:20 You didn't enter through a pipe, you entered through a door. The mechanic is two launchers covering one of two doors. The first time you approach the launchers the door to the longer route is clear and the door to the end is blocked. After you die and spawn at the checkpoint, the launchers spawn one block to either side so that the opposite door is blocked while the other is clear.
25:35 The launchers move a little to the right or left. Like so Dave might see this.
Dave: walks past troll and avoids it
Also Dave: WAIT LEMME GO CHECK THAT REAL QUICK
Best cp1 ever.
> 4/5th of the screen says 'bomb'
> the rest shows a visual cue
DGR: What do I do?
DGR I’m making a troll level for you.. hope you’ll play it.
Bandanna Wonder hope he plays it!!
What's the ID
he won't unless you are famous
You might be able to get Ryu to play it
William Blanchard it’s not done yet
First troll (I've played) with a clear condition. Short and sweet; I liked it.
I cannot express how awesome it was to refresh my feel and see this video pop up saying “1 minute ago”
This should be interesting, I watched Larl Sagan play this two days ago, so it will be cool to see DGR's reaction!
Large letters saying BOMB: exists
Dave: I am legally blind
Giant text: *B O M B*
Dave: _hmmmmmm...._
