This is Miyako and she is a genius, an amazing pianist, an amazing guitarist, she also plays bass and drums, she composed 50% of the music for Lovebites, she is a wife, mother and even goes fishing! 😀❤🤘🐺
Are you sure about their age, when they were in their 20's they were doing other things and Lovebites hadn't come to mind yet, when they came out in 2017 with their debut EP they were all in their mid to late 20s
@@salsaucedo I discovered Lovebites in early 2020 I think. We know Miyako was born in 1990. Recently, someone saw Midori's registration for the JBBF Kita-Ku competition, and her age was listed as 35. Her height was 150cm, and her weight was 43kg, if I remember correctly. I think Asami might be around the same age: 32 - 34 maybe. I have no idea about Haruna's age. I also read somewhere that Fami is only 20 years old. I'm still waiting to find out if Miyako had a baby boy or girl. I don't think she mentioned that yet. I believe Asami had a baby girl. I hope Lovebites will have an international fan-club in the near future. They have so many fans around the world now.
It's just the five of them. Even when they use backing tracks, it's all recorded by them (with occasional contributions on keyboards from their collaborator Mao, who also co-writes some of their songs). Miyako played both piano and guitar. You have to watch "Swan Song" with the Chopin Etude as intro, to see the scope of her talent.
Awesome! The guitarist on the right Miyako with the dark hair played the piano, the guitarist on the left Midori is playing an ESP guitar!! This song is hauntingly beautiful!! This band is amazing, i cant go a day without listening to them!! 🤘🐺🤘
Lovebites are the pinnacle of rock music of any genre. 5 people of immense talent who write and compose their own songs. Asami, the singer said “every band should have a Miyako”. Miyako is a classically trained pianist, self taught guitarist and composer of ridiculously good music. I disagree with Asami (whom I adore). I think Miyako is Lovebites secret weapon, like the car in James Bond. Just when you think you have seen all the armament up pops a laser cannon. There’s nobody in the same sport as Lovebites, never mind the same league. Love your reactions.
"A Frozen serenade" a fairy tale, made of metal."Epilogue" one of the most beautiful metal ballads in history."Swan Song + intro Chopin" and "Edge of the world" two classic metal songs, delicious, piano included. And if powermetal, total, because these girls also play very powerful "Hammer of wrath". "Raise some hell" "Break the wall"
Yes, this is an outstanding song: nice piano and nice vocals. In this particular song backing vocals are done by Miho (bass) and Miyako (guitar, piano). If you want to see Miyako shredding the piano, I suggest “Chopin Etude + Swan song” (live). If you want nice piano, nice vocals and nice guitars, then I recommend “Epilogue” (live, of course). Some people say that they’re from another planet.
At my great age (70) I forget to say certain things so I'll try twice. Simply to advise you Frozen Serenade which in my humble opinion is twice as extraordinary as Empty Daydream that you have just listened to. It seems difficult and yet...
Enjoyed the reaction. Yes, that was Miyako on both piano and guitar. She also sang harmony with Miho (red hair) on bass. All the same 5 girls. As to the guitars: Midori - ESP E-II Horizon, Miyako - Dean Icon.
Most bands produce songs (which is perfectly fine), Lovebites creates MASTERPIECES. Love that you came back so soon! Miho, bassist, is the red-head and left the band last year. Miyako (dark-haired) is the pianist / guitarist virtuoso (you'll see)! Keep doing Lovebites and thousands of us will watch this amazing band with you! I suggest A Frozen Serenade live 2021...there's a real treat in that song! 🤘🐺
All vocals were performed by members of the group. Asami lead vocalist was backed up in the chorus by Midori (g), Miho (b) and Miyako (g ) for the first and second responses in the chorus and Miyako alone who sang the harmony of the last line of the chorus.
One of this pair of reactors was more interested in the dogs than in the song.... 🤗Liked Lady's reaction. 👍She was really interested ! There were only 5 ladies on stage and they were all Japanese, including the "red-haired" Miho (bass guitar, backing vocals) LOVEBITES : 🐺Miho - bass, backing vocals (in August 2021 she left the band). 🐺Haruna - drums. 🐺Midori - ESP guitars, backing vocals (blond hair). 🐺Miyako (Mi-Ya)- Dean guitars, piano, keyboards, backing vocals (black hair). 🐺Asami - lead vocals, piano.
Midori, the blonde guitarist, always plays ESP. Miyako, the pianist and other guitarist, typically plays Dean but has mixed in other brands like Gibson, G&L, and a Japanese brand called Infinite.
I know some of this has been mentioned in the comments already but I felt in the mood to write briefly about some guitar history. I hope everyone finds it interesting. In the 1960’s a wayward young man named Hisatake Shibuya was unemployed in Tokyo. He wanted to work in a music related field and finally found a job as a guitar salesman for Kawai Guitars. After four years he quit and was once again looking for a job. By luck, he heard that Yamaha was hiring. Out of hundreds of applicants, he was one of thirty hired. At Yamaha he learned about the manufacturing of guitars. In 1975, Hisatake Shibuya decided to open his own business in Japan where he built custom guitars and guitar parts. He called his business Electric Sound Products (ESP). His ESP guitars became very popular very quickly. In the mid-1980s, he opened an ESP office and shop in New York City. In 1993 he moved his US operations to Hollywood California. He had always had an interest in music education, so in 1994 he bought a private vocational music school in Los Angeles called Musicians Institute (which had been founded in 1977). The next year he opened a Musicians Institute in Tokyo and then opened other campuses throughout Japan, including Osaka. Sometime around 2010 a 20 year old university student named Midori Tatematsu decided to learn to play guitar. She soon enrolled in a music school. At the music school she wanted to become good enough to play the hardest genre of music for guitarists, which she concluded was metal. The music school was the Musicians Institute in Osaka and, of course, it was there she started playing ESP electric guitars. For Lovebites, she plays exclusively ESP guitars, particularly her beautiful ESP E-II Horizon. She has also made several guitars with the ESP Guitar Craft Academy which has campuses in both Tokyo and Osaka. The ESP Guitar Craft Academy is another example of Hisatake Shibuya’s dedication to the guitar and education.
You are right the guitar is ESP but it is their sub brand of E-II. Same level Pro as ESP just one of their alternate brandnames. Midori also plays GCA which are custom made instruments by Students of ESP Guitar building school. She exclusively plays ESP/E-II/Edwards/GCA while Miyako on the other end is a Dean Endorsed artist but you will see her playing Gibson's,Fenders, and many other Japanese made guitars she owns. This guitar duo is as Smoking Hot as it gets. Their timing is incredible and their skills are God level.
The additional vocals were provided by the members of the band with Miho on bass and Midori on guitar with backing vocals and the harmonising vocal line delivered by Miyako who presumably thought that playing both the piano and guitar in the same song wasn't challenging enough!
@@dragulia_venaro Yes you are right.👍 In all songs that have backing vocals ( "Break the Wall", "Addicted", "Raise Some Hell", "The Hammer of Wrath", "M.D.O.", "Set the World on Fire", "Burden of Time", "Thunder Vengeance", "Inspire" , etc.) ,at concerts Midori performs backing vocals along with Miho and Miyako. LOVEBITES - Empty Daydream lyrics:
Memories I can’t erase still haunting me
Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes
Falling down
Breaking heart
A growing addiction
Just let me go away
Just let me go my way
Just let me go, I won’t become a doll you control
I’m losing sight of me
I’m losing sight of you
I’m losing sanity and I don’t know how I will go on
Nothing new, pretending not to know the truth
Rendezvous, without emotion or heart
I won’t show how weak and sad I am inside
Even though I know it’s just silly pride
Empty room
Endless rain
The end of a daydream
You never call my name
You never feel the same
You never make me feel like I deserve any love
I’m waiting for the dawn
I’m waiting for the time
I’m waiting for my bleeding heart to heal,
so I can go on
SOLO: miyako / midori / miyako / both
Memories I can’t erase still haunting me
Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes
Falling down
Breaking heart
A growing addiction

Just let me go my way
Just let me go, I won’t become a doll you control
I’m losing sight of me

CHOPIN!!!!
does being so accomplished on piano transfer easily to playing guitar? because it would sicken all the people who have played or tried to play as well as miyako does to learn how quickly she became as accomplished on guitar, great review btw
ESP and Dean is what they used in this song at least.
