@boyan.guitar full price was 599, I traded in my strat and paid 300. loving this thing. the tuners are a bit rough though, I've got a locking set coming in the mail. also haven't gotten the neck set up how I like it yet, having to take it off to reach the truss rod sucks lol. worth it for such a unique instrument though
@jtmurr happy new guitar day! I’d Keep the original parts, you never know. I’ve had to replace the rotary switch, but kept the original. I think I’ll do a mod to simplify all the switching. If I can get a couple of good tones out of an axe that’s all I need. I think a standard 3 switch will do it for me. I love the 50s inspired looks and tones so much.
@boyan.guitar thanks! I've been learning 5 string bass and having the b string makes the transition between guitar and bass feel less awkward. currently learning the notes on the fretboard so I can improvise better
about to go check on of these things out at my local shop today, i get a feeling i'm going to walk out with it
