Damn. This record deserves to stand for a long time. I know you used to be an archeologist but you might as well have been an engineer with how well this works. Congratulations!
I thought the first one you made would be close to the limit of how big it a cube could get for one person to operate. But the tricks you came up with made it possible. This is great!
I love your build video's and this one is definitely one of my favorites. Great to see how you approach and manage to solve the problems you get along the way. A lot of thinking has gone into this i assume. Problems happen all the time and they are opportunities to improve the system, and that's exactly what you did. Hell of a job!
"Hey neighbour, what you be working on today?" "oh not much, just changing ma house up into a giant rubix cube" "ah the usual stuff, eh good luck then"
awesome work and great video! But I think if you do something like this again you should look at different expanding foam, those cans have got to be more expensive than the bags you mix yourself.
Peeps in 1975: we will have flying cars by the 2000s! Tony Fisher: making world's biggest 3x3! Me: WOW COOL MAN! HOW DOES IT WORK spirits of everyone that died in the 1975s : okay well that happened...
@@TonyFisherPuzzles How many moves does your method take on average?? You could ask a sub-10 cuber to go to your house and help you with the solution haha
@@TonyFisherPuzzles you could do it over many days and than just edit the footage together, but you might be to busy to do that since you make lots of puzzles
i HIGHLY recommend making a custom core for this and not using a mass produced rubics cube. You can really tighten up the whole thing that way and be a lot more free with construction, less constraints. and perhaps even be able to make a lighter and bigger cube by going full hollow plastic on it.
Huh immagine this was mass prodused and made with plastic and huge bolts Tony fisher: right imma make an even bigger Rubik's cube with this huge one as the core
I think you are confusing the way I say "cube" with the way I say "cubie". A cubie is one of the smaller cubes that make up the larger one. It's a standard term used for more than 30 years
When I turn the puzzle over I can only lift it holding one edge. That puts an enormous amount of stress on the vertical layers / columns either side of me. Those wedges distribute that stress. I use two close to where I am lifting from and another two for when I lower it.
Videos are available to media / news companies through the link in my description.
This is really cool!
Yeah!
Tony Fisher what website did you use for the model?
O K
Kennito1013
4:53 it was epic;)
Kosmonauta _11 ya
Le Monke
Ya
Imagine if it was off frame tho
Me:do that
My brain:STOP
Just wait. In a few years, Tony Fisher will live inside a Rubik's Cube.

reinforced the boxes with whipped cream what a legend
Yung Abortion its foam

I can only imagine what the neighbors were thinking when they saw you filling a bunch of boxes with expanding foam 😂
I think his neighbors are used to such things.
Probably didn't even notice that I mean I don't spy on my neighbors
How else is he gonna store all that foam?
The most satisfying part? Peeling off the protective sticker layer 😁😁
Zdenek Zimmermann I think it is the foam
Oh my god I was thinking the same thing!!
the peeling wouldve been better but he threw them on the groundnddd
I laughed pretty hard when I saw the size of the stickers.
Also, the maker of that foam should seriously sponsor your next project.
That would be a mini cube for Godzilla
IceT Animations Lol
Random kid:
“I can solve that in 1 second!”
Actually does it tho
random guy: RAnDom kiD:
that's actually not possible fyi
Just scramble by turning it once then turn it back
DiamondWolf 051 your kidding, right?
Imagine That It Pops!
Stefan Z it actually did

I love all the little funny clips you add in here.
awesome work and great video! But I think if you do something like this again you should look at different expanding foam, those cans have got to be more expensive than the bags you mix yourself.
You are probably correct and I certainly looked. There was nothing I could find cheaper though and the stuff I used is far easier to work with.
Craftsmanship + dedication = respect
I wonder how long Felix will take to resolve it. A very satisfying 18.19 minutes to watch it being made.
Plot twist:
The cube is a regular 3x3 and tony is insanely tiny.
Nobody say he copied a comment cuz he didn’t
Why did I write that
Why did I write any of these comments
What
Is it just me or is him adding the foam extremely satisfying.
Edit: You should try solving it.
Bruh algorithms would be a pain in the ass wym
Sounds like a airplane taking off
Genius work ! Luv your puzzle builds !
Awesome job !
You are a genius, this was so fun to watch because i am a Huge cube fan

the cube in the middle looks very cool
This is so cool because I live in the same city as Telus spark where that other Rubik’s cube is kept as this was a recommended video.

Can I have this? I wanted to use it for my new OH main
This is so novel and kitsch, I fucking love it. That mixed with a little craftsmen ship and ingenuity and Ta Da! Voila!

A custom core would certainly be much better but I do not have the expertise to make one. Plus it would be far more expensive.
Speed Cuber : Let's solve it under 10 seconds!
Large Cube :
This is super cool! Btw i am very inspired by you Tony!
Nice!
Use lube between the mats when you move the cube from the garage to outside
I thought about that but you soon have lube everywhere including where I am using the cube. Then the cube is greasy and I am sliding around.
4:53 cooooool
OMG this is soo cool and good. How long would it take for a professional Rubix cube solver to solve this
It belongs in a museum!
Woah this is amazing tenfold!
Awesome!
Wow nice is the rubik big...😮😃
That’s Amazingly impressive
I found that really weird part of TH-cam again.

Lol Boris Johnson on the newspaper
where are you going to put that?
yeah it's cool and all, but how's the cornercuting???
take a shot every time he says "Cube"
Tony would you ever 3d print parts to make a worlds largest puzzle?
No, it would cost tens of thousands, weigh far too much and be zero fun to make that way.
@@TonyFisherPuzzles what if you just designed and 3d printed the core of it only tho would that be better ?
The way he says “cube” is so cute lol
I think you are confusing the way I say "cube" with the way I say "cubie". A cubie is one of the smaller cubes that make up the larger one. It's a standard term used for more than 30 years
thank you sir
I love the sticker peeling
It is incredible!! 😀

Thats amazing!!!
so creative
It’s beautiful
I'm probably just an idiot who missed an explanation in the video, but what are the wedges that you stick in the top before rotating for?
When I turn the puzzle over I can only lift it holding one edge. That puts an enormous amount of stress on the vertical layers / columns either side of me. Those wedges distribute that stress. I use two close to where I am lifting from and another two for when I lower it.
How many days did it take to build this?
You should make a giant rubix twist! XD
