TRIP REPORT | easyJet A320 | Impressive Clouds !! | Berlin to Madrid

- Mid-day flight from Berlin-Tegel to Madrid with Easyjet, onboard one their 177 Airbus A320 Sharklets, on a very unstable atmosphere day all around Europe.
This was my first time at Tegel airport. I was expecting something more. Definitely is an airport where I can't recommend doing a connection. With the only exception of low-cost airlines connections. Surprisingly, I found more comfortable (not more beautiful) and easy to use the low-cost terminal than the others.
The flight itself was really good. I would say it's one of the best 10 videos of the channel. The edition of this trip report wasn't easy but I really liked the final result, especially the scenes over those huge clouds when approaching Madrid.
I would like to know your opinion. Is this one of the best trip reports of the channel? ツ

Buen vídeo a pesar de que no se ha podido disfrutar de las vistas por estar todo cubierto de nubes, y es la primera vez que veo el aeropuerto de Berlina y esta compañía .

Buen report, como siempre. Gracias por el trabajo de edición que te habrá costado evitar las vibraciones debidas a las turbulencias. El aeropuerto de Berlín debe de tener mucho de la austeridad de la antigua RDA y otras zonas construidas tipo industrial con bajo presupuesto. Bonito el momento de superar las nubes y el descenso entre esos cúmulos. No entiendo los comentarios negativos a EasyJet. Aunque solo he volado una vez con ellos no tuve ningún problema. Impresionante también el cruce con aquel tráfico. La última vez que pasé por Madrid, quedé asombrado de como se iban alternando descensos por las 32R y L ¡que cantidad de movimientos! No pude mirar más detenidamente porque iba conduciendo. Hay una zona que es un gran mirador para las aproximaciones. Entre Coslada y Mejorada del Campo. Saluds

Respecto al movimiento de la cámara durante el vuelo, poco a poco, con los años que ya llevo grabando los vídeos, he conseguido ir minimizandolas durante la grabación. La edición le da ese toque final de suavidad que creo que estoy logrando en los últimos vídeos que estoy editando. Me alegra que lo hayas percibido. :)
Esta fue mi cuarta vez volando con easyJet (mañana será la quinta) y nunca he tenido ningún problema. De hecho, la verdad es que en los más de 400 vuelos que he hecho en los últimos 5-6 años, puedo contar los vuelos con algún "problema" con los dedos de una mano. Toco madera y espero que mañana no tenga retrasos y demás, porque tengo las conexiones un pelín ajustadas para ser verano jaja

Bet that was a long old taxi to the gates!!! Your views of the other gates is invaluable! Very helpful for Flight Sim afcad reworks to get AI aircraft to park at the right stands. More of that would be great!

Respecto a las turbulencias, mientras no sean turbulencia severa, no me molestan (excepto si estoy comiendo o bebiendo algo, en cuyo caso pueden ser un poco problemáticas jaja).
Alguna vez has tenido turbulencias importantes?

@@OnBoardHD si ,turbulencias de Madrid Tenerife ,después de viajar sin parar de vuelta lucxor Cairo Madrid Tenerife 🙈....me tocó la vuelta Tenerife qu mi cara era un poema ,un cuadro de picazo ,aquello se movía como una coctelera ummmm,repte a la parte trasera donde estaban mirando la tripulación los dineros recaudados ,y yo allí en el suelo mirándolos horrorizada como comprenderás ,me mandaron a sentarme y ponerme cinturón ........mi cara cómo sería !! Y empezaron a preguntarme de donde había viajado y les conte y me dejaron con ellos ,sin antes decirme que el mismo vuelo Tenerife Madrid fue peor.....

En cualquier caso, puedes viajar bien tranquila respecto a las turbulencias. No hay turbulencias suficientemente fuertes fuera de una tormenta (un avión nunca se mete dentro de una nube de tormenta, también llamadas Cumulonimbus) como para tirar un avión. Viaja sin preocupuaciones al respecto.
Al fin y al cabo, el aire es un fluído. No está quieto. Hay corrientes, del mismo modo que las hay en el mar. El avión circula por ese fluído que es el aire, de modo que se mueve con el aire; no es que el aire mueva al avión, sino que el avión se mueve con el aire.
El avión va a a generar exactamente la misma sustentación que fuera de turbulencias. No obstante, como es lógico, siempre es más cómodo volar en aire "tranquilo" que en aire con turbulencias.

Nice! Reminds me of flying over southern Sweden while on approach into Copenhagen Kastrup. Could you do a video of flying on Scandinavian Airlines from Stockholm Arlanda to Copenhagen? That is about a 50 minute flight usually on either an A320 or a Boeing 737.

Great video! One of my favorite trip reporter. I don't like one thing about your video, the landing scenes are very short, just the touch down and immediately the exit from the runway, for the rest your video are very very beautiful 😉😉

The point is that, when I check the stats fo the videos, what almost everybody skips is the landing roll, that means, from touch down until the cabin crew starts to speak. That's why I've reduced it a little =/

The Calzone was surprisingly good, to be honest. I bought it because I got 4-5 recommendations in my last easyJet video and they were correct. Despite it didn't look nice, it was tasty.
They gave me 4 sugars directly... I do not know what impression they had of me to do that haha
Anyway, it was a very pleasant flight with some nice views. Flying with easyJet is always a pleasure. Tomorrow I'm doing it again :)

@@NavigatoTravels I flew once to Istanbul from Madrid and back, but was in 2012, with Iberia (not operating the route anymore).
It was a great experience. I would love to make it again, either with Iberia (that now is impossible) or Tukish Airlines. Which airplanes did you fly on it? A330? B737? :)

Amazing video as usual, just a quick tip: If you fly easyjet again, do not choose the spicy rice nudles they offer, it tastes so bad :/ I am in Alicante now, returning to Bergen in 10 days with Easyjet. Amazing video!

Impresionante TR de EasyJet! Ruego más jajaja 😋 Yo también volé con ellos HAM - LGW - HAM. La vuelta fue operada con un A320NEO. Me encanta ese avión porque parece más espacioso y vuela más tranquilo que los A320CEO. Sobre todo las tripulaciones han sido súper diligentes y profesionales como siempre a bordo de EasyJet 😄 Sin embargo tuvimos mucho retraso por ATC... 🙁 Un saludo desde HAM 🤣 Echo de menos el sol 😭

@@ruperthess7238 Estos 2 días pasados estuve volando (7 vuelos) para tener más variedad en el canal: Jet2, Thomas Cook, Volotea, Vueling, Flybe... He visitado nuevos aeropuertos que no tenemos en el canal como Menorca, Belfast, East Midlands, Bordeaux... Suena bien no? :D
Por cierto!!! Esto te va a encantar: me he comprado billete con LH!! jaja VIE-FRA-SCQ y SCQ-ZRH-VIE. Volaré en A320 SHarklets de LH ( a ver si lo cambiasen por NEO) y en el A220 de Swiss! :D
Eso es lo que más me encanta de ver en tus videos sobre los cielos europeos, que siempre te puedes encontrar con el tráfico aéreo alrededor del vuelo en el cual te encuentras, pero si de día te parece impresionante ver una nube de tormenta, quedas impactado cuando las ves de noche y más aun si es una nube de tormenta eléctrica a gran altura!!!! Y que es lo que se vendrá para el siguiente vuelo????

Fue un día en el que resultó bastante sencillo grabar cosas interesantes jeje Cuando t eencuentras con esas nubes, siempre salen planos muy chulos.
Pues el sabado que viene aún no tengo 100% claro que es lo que tendremos. Tengo 6 vídeos editados y listos para ser publicados, pero tengo que meditarlo jaja Pero es bastante probable que tengas el primer interinsular del canal! :D

About the airplanes info, It depends on where the airplane is. When the plane is on the boarding gate, using the airport screens. When the airplane is taxiing, with the registrations and FR24.

Quanto mi piacerebbe fare una foto con i piloti per poi farle vedere ai miei nipoti
Hace aproximadamente un mes vole de Asturias a Madrid en un ATR 72 y aquel día también hubo algunas turbulencias debido a las nubes bajas, pero fue muy divertido y espero poder repetir ese viaje cuanto antes. Cómo anécdota de aquel vuelo, íbamos con una amiga que le tiene miedo a volar y en uno de los momentos con más turbulencias le entró la famosa rabia aérea y se puso a decir insultos y a botar sobre el asiento 😂. En aquel momento nos asustamos pensando que al bajar la podría detener la policía pero al final todo quedó como una curiosa anécdota de la que me río cada vez que pienso en ella.

@@JohnSourvinos that does depend on the airplanes and airlines cabin configuration, due to our 156 319 seater we need an additional overwing door.
@@JohnSourvinos Well, on the A319 the front part (I mean, the part of fuselage in front of the engine) is shorter than on an A320, for example.
But yes, when the A319 have 2 overwing exits, is more difficult to differentiate them from A320.
@@JohnSourvinos you can still quite easily see the shorter cabin. I can distinguish them quite good, especially if you work for the airline. We have the most 319s than any other airline. That's why u get to see them very often, after a while I look up in the sky "ah, 319"

It depends on where the airplane is. When the plane is on the boarding gate, using the airport screens. When the airplane is taxiing, with the registrations and FR24.

I flew 4 times with easyJet (3 of them are already on the channel) being the last one recorded on last Monday, flying to Barcelona. That's the reason why I could not answer before, I was travelling during these 2 days. I'm sorry for the delay.
To be honest, I'm more used to the Ryanair flights (I've made like 300 with them) but that doesn't mean, in any way, that I don't enjoy flying with other airlines; Wizzair and easyJet are, definitely, airlines worth flying with.

No es botón, es para colgar una chaqueta o similar. Bastante inútil hoy en dái, teniendo en cuenta la separación entre asientos, pero eso es lo que.

Easy Jet are fine until things go wrong, like them cancelling your return flight and denying you boarding, due to a "computer error".
Got home the next day after 4 hours sleep in the crapiest hotel ever, courtesy of e.j.
To cap it off, trying to claim the €164 for taxis to and from this "hotel" was an absolute nightmare through the e.j. website.
If you go on this page go to the "I'm not a robot" icon at the bottom and click it prior to filling the form out, you will need to keep refreshing this whilst completing the form, or it will time you out.
It's like they dont want you to claim....
Well, that's definitely a bad experience. 😐

Update, they will only compensate due to "commercial or operational" reasons.
I'm now trying to explain to them that human error on their part is an " operational" error...looking like a job for the aviation onbudsman.
