My very first flight was with Easyjet. July 2019 my girlfriend took me to Jersey. I will never forget it. The sight of the plane for the first time was breathtaking. I couldn't believe how big it was. It was an A319-111. The physical experiences felt on my body created by the planes various movements and my thoughts as it went through them was amazing. Especially the acceleration and the take-off as well as the banking of the airplane. The turbulence was brilliant too. It was like being on a roller coaster ride. The whole time. Remember how you felt? That is what I experienced. Food was brilliant. Only had a Diet Coke and a Kit Kat but it wasn't bad at all. People say there is a world of difference between a budget airline and full service one. What you get and what you don't. To a person unaccustomed to flying it is very hard to tell the difference. It seemed no better or worse than a flight with BA or other non budget airline companies. I would fly with them every time. Brilliant experience. My next dream is to go to see Europe. Somewhere like Spain since my gf has been 3 times since we met. I wouldn't mind France. Anywhere really.
Great flight report. The boarding ramp is very unique but is being used increasingly by ground handling companies. It’s called “Aviramp” it’s Huge but allows the passengers to board quicker as they don’t have to climb steps with hand luggage bags that can slow people down. It also allows less mobile passengers to board without the need of a lift on, which at busier airport will reduce possible delays. (Especially is we are an ageing population) I’m seeing more and more at UK airports, but they are harder to store and move at airports. I’m looking forward to the next report.
@@OnBoardHD yeah and I like that the voice is very relaxed. Here in Germany for example here at my homebase Tegel we have also a german version! I think easyjet is a great airline to fly with 😉

@@ChrisCokeRobinson It could be the APU or the engines. I believe the aural warning is the same for any engine or APU. I don't know how the flows are done on the A320. On the B737 we check them altogether.
easyJet doesn’t dominate Gatwick, but the North terminal instead. The south terminal sees many other airlines. Great video, excited for my flight to København in 8 days!

Todos los vuelos que he echo en toda mi vida han sido por Europa. Cuando fui a Inglaterra hice con Easy Jet BCN-BRS y BRS-BCN para volver. El vuelo de vuelta a barcelona fue el mejor vuelo de toda mi vida sin duda, lo disfruté más que todas las vacaciones en si. Ojalá poder repetir, tuve muy buena experiencia con Easy Jet
How did you handle the Phone during filming did you only hold it in your hand or with an Stick? I ask because I also want to do trip reports with my 11pro here on TH-cam
I hold it always with my hands. I've never used any kind of stick or support to stick it on the window.I don't like the effect that that gives, with the camera not mooving at all. In my opinion that is unrealistic.
Well, departing from London is very common as there are a lot of "steps" during the climb due to the huge amount of airplanes on the airspace. However, you can listen something similar in every flight, it's just a thrust reduction, from the takeoff thrust to the climb thrust, which is slightly lower.
@@OnBoardHD I actually researched that question myself and found out that the change of speeds is not that vast but for us humans, due to physiological reasons, it feels like a big pitch forward like the plane is "falling" because of the ratio of our small bodies being in a huge plane. Still though, never a pleasant feeling for the not-frequent flyer :(

Los 2 últimos números del modelo (A319-111) 11 en este caso hacen referencia a configuracion especifica que ha elegido la aerolinea. Tipos de motores y cosas así.
Flying easyJet in August on their A320(neo?) and I can't wait. I've flown with them since I was quite young and in my opinion they are better than the other low-cost carriers out there. Very nice report, I enjoyed it a lot :)
It sometimes bothers me when i see airlines have such a stronghold on some airports, i mean i understand that its all to do with main bases but the problem is, if that airline collapses it will most definitely plunge the entire airport into, well nothing! airports really need to have a competitive variety so if one is lost they can still somewhat function.
Well, in this case, there are 5 airports in London and all of them have huge traffic loads. Also, at each airport, there is a "dominant" airline. So basically, the airlines compete anyway, but not on the same airport. But yes, I understand your point.
Gatwick has two terminals, south and north, easyjet only operates through the north terminal and is "dominante" there but in the south terminal there are many many other airlines flying from there

Great Video! I have flown EasyJet a lot more than any other airline and I have also flown them to Barcelona twice. I’m not a fan of T2C at BCN though, especially not the chaotic departure area for non-Schengen flights at the M Gates. Did you book any flights with them in their £29/€31 sale recently?
Well, in my opinion, Terminal 2 is not so bad. I've flown from both Schengen and non-Schengen areas and I found it pretty easy. However, yep, I prefer Terminal 1 :) I didn't buy anything for now. I have a British Airways voucher, another with Air Baltic, another with Iberia and another with TUI. I will wait until we know something for sure about when we'll be flyign again :)
OnBoardHD - Flight Experience I’m hoping that flying will begin to be restored in June. I’ve got an Aer Lingus voucher and I had a BA voucher, though I have now spent it on a short flight from EDI-LGW and back. I’m now not due to fly until 17th June and that’s STN-LDE with Ryanair which is looking unlikely. I hope isolation is tolerable for you!

Hello and thanks for the video. You can also make a very intersting video e even it is common route . boarding method, unpublished, but interesting. but how is it moved to close the front door? In Barcelona and more generally in Spain, a non-contact de-boarding is rare.

The reason for such a ramp is for wheelchair accessibility. There are times where a wheelchair lift to the right side service door is not available, or the airport doesn't have it, so it would make sense for such a ramp. Also the UK is one of many countries in Europe to have some sort of disability legislation mandating the use of accessibility features in public infrastructure.

Despite Gatwick only having one runway, I would class it as a big airport. It has the second largest passenger numbers after Heathrow in the UK and aircraft movements suggest that it is a big airport, regardless of it being single runway or not.
i have flown a few times on both airlines i also prefer easyjet i like the airline a lot i am a disabled passenger i got treated with kindness on easyjet ryanair i have to say not so good
Actually, I don’t think the show is airing anymore on TV. It’s on TH-cam and it things such as passenger outbursts and crazy days and how the staff of EasyJet deals with it. Leo Jones is a passenger relations manager. Check it out on TH-cam if you can. It’s a very good show!
Not really... Vueling has the "advantage" that has codeshares with more airlines than only other Vueling flights. Apart from that, Easyjet and Vueling are very similar in my opinion. What do you think? :)

Poor announcement from the flight deck, it’s not natural to speak at that speed and it just sounds rushed and unattached. Flight crews should always take a moment to give a professional PA, it’s their only connection with the passengers.

Todos los vuelos que he echo en toda mi vida han sido por Europa. Cuando fui a Inglaterra hice con Easy Jet BCN-BRS y BRS-BCN para volver. El vuelo de vuelta a barcelona fue el mejor vuelo de toda mi vida sin duda, lo disfruté más que todas las vacaciones en si. Ojalá poder repetir, tuve muy buena experiencia con Easy Jet

How did you handle the Phone during filming did you only hold it in your hand or with an Stick? I ask because I also want to do trip reports with my 11pro here on TH-cam
I hold it always with my hands. I've never used any kind of stick or support to stick it on the window.I don't like the effect that that gives, with the camera not mooving at all. In my opinion that is unrealistic.

Well, departing from London is very common as there are a lot of "steps" during the climb due to the huge amount of airplanes on the airspace.
However, you can listen something similar in every flight, it's just a thrust reduction, from the takeoff thrust to the climb thrust, which is slightly lower.

I actually researched that question myself and found out that the change of speeds is not that vast but for us humans, due to physiological reasons, it feels like a big pitch forward like the plane is "falling" because of the ratio of our small bodies being in a huge plane.
Still though, never a pleasant feeling for the not-frequent flyer :(

Los 2 últimos números del modelo (A319-111) 11 en este caso hacen referencia a configuracion especifica que ha elegido la aerolinea. Tipos de motores y cosas así.

Flying easyJet in August on their A320(neo?) and I can't wait. I've flown with them since I was quite young and in my opinion they are better than the other low-cost carriers out there. Very nice report, I enjoyed it a lot :)

It sometimes bothers me when i see airlines have such a stronghold on some airports, i mean i understand that its all to do with main bases but the problem is, if that airline collapses it will most definitely plunge the entire airport into, well nothing! airports really need to have a competitive variety so if one is lost they can still somewhat function.
Well, in this case, there are 5 airports in London and all of them have huge traffic loads. Also, at each airport, there is a "dominant" airline. So basically, the airlines compete anyway, but not on the same airport. But yes, I understand your point.
Gatwick has two terminals, south and north, easyjet only operates through the north terminal and is "dominante" there but in the south terminal there are many many other airlines flying from there

Great Video! I have flown EasyJet a lot more than any other airline and I have also flown them to Barcelona twice. I’m not a fan of T2C at BCN though, especially not the chaotic departure area for non-Schengen flights at the M Gates.

Well, in my opinion, Terminal 2 is not so bad. I've flown from both Schengen and non-Schengen areas and I found it pretty easy. However, yep, I prefer Terminal 1 :)
I didn't buy anything for now. I have a British Airways voucher, another with Air Baltic, another with Iberia and another with TUI. I will wait until we know something for sure about when we'll be flyign again :)

I’ve got an Aer Lingus voucher and I had a BA voucher, though I have now spent it on a short flight from EDI-LGW and back. I’m now not due to fly until 17th June and that’s STN-LDE with Ryanair which is looking unlikely. I hope isolation is tolerable for you!

Gatwick es el aeropuerto que usa Norwegian en Londres, sí.
Los vuelos intercontinentales de Norwegian desde Barcelona no hacen escala en ningún lado. Norwegian tiene una base de largo radio también en Barcelona.

The reason for such a ramp is for wheelchair accessibility. There are times where a wheelchair lift to the right side service door is not available, or the airport doesn't have it, so it would make sense for such a ramp. Also the UK is one of many countries in Europe to have some sort of disability legislation mandating the use of accessibility features in public infrastructure.

Not really... Vueling has the "advantage" that has codeshares with more airlines than only other Vueling flights. Apart from that, Easyjet and Vueling are very similar in my opinion.

Poor announcement from the flight deck, it’s not natural to speak at that speed and it just sounds rushed and unattached. Flight crews should always take a moment to give a professional PA, it’s their only connection with the passengers.
