Every time our power goes out, the timer loses the time, it keeps the other settings. I replaced the batteries, and was careful to put the negative and positive sides in correctly. I also used circuit cleaner to clean the contacts. Isn't this timer supposed to keep the time after a power outage?
@Intermatic it would be great if you made a plug-in device like this, but with an interface more like your EJ-600 in wall timer. There should be one button that is big and easy to press - ON/OFF. The others should be smaller, or on a different side of the device. The EJ-600 was also more intuitive to program, if I recall.
Hi @paulgush! Thank you for the feedback. I have shared your comment internally with our product development team. We sincerely appreciate all feedback we receive from our customers. Thanks again for being a customer! LG
@@IntermaticIncorporated The now out-of-production Brinks 44-1030 timer was pretty good because because the "Manual" button (equivalent of On/Off on this device) was on top, with the programming buttons hidden by a sliding panel, a bit like your EJ-600. The Fospower timer that's now popular is awful because of its awful state machine with the manual override button. It manages to be hard to understand, counterintuitive, unhelpful and inconvenient. Somehow it seems to be selling well online, despite racking up deservedly terrible reviews.
