    The Baja No Pinch Tire Tool is designed to simplify the installation of your dirt bike tires. The powerful rack and pinion system pushes the tire over the rim, eliminating the chance of a pinched inner tube during installation. The Tool is constructed to be both light weight and strong and can easily be carried in your pack.
    The Baja No Pinch Tire tool comes standard with a 20 mm axle shaft. It will work on all wheel sizes from 16" to 21" with axles sizes 20 mm to 23 mm. If you have a smaller wheel size, you will need to additionally purchase the Baja No Pinch Mini Bike Kit, which works with wheel sizes from 10" to 14".

    Worth it’s weight in gold!!! Idk if any of you have had the joy of changing Ktm50sx tires/tubes. But it’s a 10” with a rim lock. I went through 3 tubes & pretty sure I damaged the tire using spoons. I bought this with the mini bike attachment, I just did 2 tires in about 10 mins. I’m blown away

    Would love to see a demo of this tool with a super stiff tire like a Dunlop Trailmax Mission rear. I managed to spoon on a TMM front on my CB500X, but the rear was impossible with hand tools. Even the guy at the shop, using a machine, took half an hour getting the tire on!

    I like the look of this but every video I see the tire is really soft and malleable - I would love to see a change on Maxxis Desert IT rear at say 10 degrees C - I figure it can do it - but would like to see it as a sort of torture test.

    • @SDTriathlete
      @SDTriathlete 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I agree. Most of the tire change videos use best case scenario instead of worst case. Murphy’s Law dictates we’ll get a flat at night in Tijuana after a full days ride off-road on a heavy adventure bike with a super-stiff 150/90-17 rear tire. Oh yeah, that just happened to me last week. This tool saved my ass, but it certainly wasn’t easy and these videos make it look super simple. The edge of the tool isn’t quite wide enough to grab the thick edge on that kind of tire, so you really have to press down hard. Also the tool tries to come up out of the axle center. It required two people to do it for me.

    Does this work if you use a bib mousse?

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question. I think the easiest way for a bib is with the Rabaconda (or similar) tire stand, with five or six tire irons. With the Baja, you would still need to place some tire irons to keep the bead down in the dish of the rim, plus the pressing arm on those tire stands makes a huge difference. I'm sure you could get the Baja to work, but I would recommend just using a stand. Once you have the technique down, it's quick. -Charles th-cam.com/video/wHFhWShs2MM/w-d-xo.html
