I just started your videos because we are planning a first time trip to WDW. And I have been so confused on where to even begin. Compared, to other WDW youtubers that I have been watching yours are clear, straight to the point, no jibber jabbing, points out important key features. I have even been taking notes from your videos to start planning our trip. Please keep it up and thank you so much. Please, please, please, do another video exactly like this one on the moderate and luxury resorts. Also another video explaining how and what are the wrist bands, what and how to use fastpass, how and what are dining plans, and a video on each individual park and what there is to do.
Thank you Jazmin! That’s one of my favourite comments 🤗 Hoping to finish the guide to moderate resorts today so aiming to post that tomorrow. I’ll be definately doing more videos for all the parks. Thank you for watching 👍😁
Hi. We are annual pass holders. He has the other videos on the moderate and luxury hotels, so I'll help with the magic wrist bands. They basically Electronically ID you. You can use them to open your room, they are water proof so you can wear them in a pool. Then you use them as your ticket to get in the parks. With pass holders, we also use them for getting our free parking. Then they are what you use to get on rides with fast pass, but they are not running fast passes yet. They were working on tying them to be able to charge items to your room, but I'm not sure if that has been implemented yet. When fast pass is implemented again, you can add rides via the Disney mobile app on your phone after you use up the three fast pass reservations that you can reserve way ahead of time.
I’m a Disney travel agent and I just discovered your videos! I’m sending them to all of my new clients! These are absolutely fantastic, thank you so much! ✨
Great video! It taught me something new about the All Star resorts in that they share a bus route! It's such a relief to know that me and my travel partner aren't going to go way out of our way if we mistake one of the other all star busses for the one we're staying at. Thank you for the video!
I stayed off site once and I will never do it again. I used to always stay at value resorts as I spend very little time at the resorts except for a mid afternoon break. But I finally tried a moderate resort when I got older and had a little more money to spend and I think the moderate resort is right for me. The cost is still within my budget, but the biggest difference is transportation. Your still gonna deal with waits and full buses at the end of the night, but nothing nearly as hectic and the rest of the day is generally gonna be no issues. IMO: Best Value Resort: pop century Best Moderate: Port Orleans French Quarter.
Just a hint about All Star Movies…. If you are in (I think) Mighty Ducks, the rooms are closer to the food court & buses for All Star Music, than for Movies. So it is often a]quicker to just walk over there & then get the bus there where it is less crowded.
Pop century is definitely the best bang for your buck but if you are traveling with small children I’m going to have to say art of animation or all star movies
Thanks for the simple, straight forward information. I've gotten overwhelmed with trying to decide (and I'm not really new to WDW), and this was very helpful.
FB always look forward to when you put a New Video out . Honest and true reflection of the value resorts on site at Disney . If I and honest Pop Century is my fav as well , however prefer to stay off site either on 192 or International Drive . I prefer the freedom . However that being said I can see why people would stay on site with the Disney Extras you get with that . Great all round content which is presented in a very user friendly way . Top Marks FB 👍
Quality of your videos is really good and edited very well. I consider myself to be an Orlando veteran, but thoroughly enjoy your summaries and learn a lot! Looking forward to the next video soon :)
With All Star Movies… The people staying in (I think) Mighty Ducks are quite close to the front of All Star Music. So it can often be a better option to walk over there for food court and buses.
this is a really good guide! I have to agree that pop century is my favorite value resort. Also, congrats on 10.000 subscribers! You deserve much more subscribers because you do help a lot to understand more about orlando
I've stay at Pop and all the All Stars more than once and loved them. In my family we'd rather stay 2 weeks in a value than 1 week in a moderate or deluxe resort. We did a week long trip at French Quarter and wished we could have stayed longer. Great video.
Another great video. Thanks. Was always interested in art of animation as I'm a little mermaid fan. But will definitely take the information you have shared into consideration. Wonderful to watch 🤗 🌞😎
Thank you Robert!! Yeah I had thought about doing that soon. Current schedule is moderate resort guide, islands of adventure food and then islands of adventure tips video. After that I’ll be tempted to do a brits planning video. Really appreciate the suggestion 👍😁
Just booked my stay at all star movies for christmas season next year, seeing this video it feels like i made the right choice as it has the most disneyish theming. Resort food isnt really an issue for us as the disney area has so many fine dining options. Video got me even more excited traveling all the way there from europe!
@@TheFrugalBrit were going with just two adults so we dont mind traveling to the parks or other resorts to get a meal, im not planning on spending any time besides sleeping in the hotel anyway. Im getting more excited the more planning we do!
This is one of my favorite resorts at Disney as feels the most like you are at Disney w/o being in parks. If you choose to have a meal here and IF Disney is doing in person ordering vs solely mobile order, ask to see the “secret menu”. The staff will come out with a case. In the case is a viewfinder to see the menu. Its a fun experience that AS Movie’s had that others don’t. Best to ask about this at off peak hours!
Gets me in the holiday mood. Was saying to my gf that you could definitely partner with virgin holidays because your videos remind me the old holiday adverts on tv. Qaulity
1. I love the accent! 2. this was super helpful! I was torn between the family suites at Art of Animation(our son loves Cars) or the ones are All Star Music but based on your video i think we may have to spend a few more bucks on the Art of Animation...thank you again!! :)
No free magic bands anymore I don't think. Disney dining plan is great if you get it free I really hope they bring it back. I could afford it if not. Great video
Thank you Rachel, yeah I used some outdated information re magic bands, and completely forgot to update it for this script. 🙈 Despite covering the change in one of my news videos 🤦♂️
Sorry to say that the magic bands have been discontinued, as in, even if u stay at a resort, you need to purchase them for 20$ if you want them, they don’t come free anymore
Great channel! Would you consider reviewing top 10 restaurants as defined by Trip Advisor? Also non Disney hotels but are on or near Disney such as Hilton Bonnet Creek etc.? Thanks!
Hi Tim! The trip advisor suggestion is a really good idea, I had toyed with something similar. I’m gonna add that to the list. I’m also gonna do an ‘off site near Disney’ trip hopefully within the year to do this. Thank you!
hey i commented on your video a while ago saying i was moving to Orlando and Guess where i am ORLANDO i moved a few weeks ago its amazing thanks for the vids
Another great video thanks Frugel! As a suggestion what about advice on DVC if you have any? Been looking lots on the buying on confirmed reservations and some good deals to be had.
It seems like the UK will be in a really good position come summer time. However I’m a bit nervous about Florida. Because of climate, Florida peaks for respiratory illnesses in the summer (lots of people indoors with air conditioning), whereas in the UK it’s in the winter. I’m worried that the governor is doing a victory lap a bit too soon in Florida. I think we’ll know by mid June. Fingers crossed🤞
They are opposite the lake from one another with a causeway connecting them. They are closer to each other than the resorts are big, so it depends on where in each you want to go. Also the gondola station is right between the two, so that is an added feature for both.
We booked with AOA in Sept if international flights happen this Yr Heard its the best value resort out of the lot Love the vlogs but few far inbetween, wait too long for next vlog shame as vlogs have great info
Yeah it’s the best on everything except price. For a number of reasons (mainly pandemic related) it’s been difficult to make more frequent content, but hopefully we’re near the end of this! Thanks for watching 👍😁
I find it HILARIOUS that Disney is the ONLY place where $130-220/night would qualify as “Value”! Not even Midtown Manhattan is quite THAT ridiculously overpriced! (Heck, you can Easily score a SUITE for that kind of money at some of the nicer places in VEGAS for that kind of money!)

Yeah this is the rationale I use with my friends a lot, better to budget in a way that doesn’t reduce how long you get to stay at WDW.
Am planning to take my 3 year old son and my daughter, which of those 2 would you recommend me will be a better option. Pop or all the all starts

Thank you Jennifer! Yeah the rooms are very pretty, but noticeably more expensive than the other resorts. Depends how much you value room theming.
Awesome video again. Would love to see a video about Brit’s planning a holiday overall, what costs to expect, etc.

How easy is it to make a mid day nap in disney hotel?
Pretty easy, but obviously easier the closer you are to the park you’re visiting.
Hi, is it possible to store your luggage before your check in time ?
You can indeed 👍😁
Do you tend to stay at hotels or a villa?
Hotels normally, I like the atmosphere 😁
do all 3 hotels not have their own buses?
