AoA was awesome for us. Family of 4, kids 8 and 6 for our first WDW trip. Why? Because the theming got us in the bubble immediately. And the sky liner to help minimize the transportation stress. And we staying in the standard room because we were more interested in parks than pools and we still felt we had enough space.
Value resorts are OK if you plan to spend almost no time in the room. They are quite small, not well insulated from neighbor noise and the bathroom does not have a real door. Otherwise, the resorts are fun and well themed. Most pools are pretty good.
Ok i like the value it just depends on what you want from your vacation. i always make sure that i have dinner outside of the resort.the food courts are very basic and not the best of food.
Loved my stay at ALL STAR music, but our room was so far from the restaurant and front desk that after a long day with painful feet, it was horrible walking there lol but otherwise, i enjoyed the room. Comfy beds, food was good, they even made gluten free pizza for my mom on request. The staff was super friendly! I found the buses weren't that bad honestly. I never waited more than 20mins for one. The hardest is when you have 5+ strollers in front of you and electric chairs... they fill out the bus quickly and you end up waiting for another bus.
I'm almost to the point where I'd consider the Art of Animation Resort to be creeping in to Moderate territory. The family rooms are in the Moderate price range, and for single rooms I'd recommend Pop Century; the Little Mermaid section at AoA is farthest from the buses and the skyliner. Do really like the new rooms: small, but nice use of space. For two people it's just fine. A family of 4-5 can get a little cramped.
In August our stay at Pop Century was a little rough. Food court under construction and NO tie dye cheesecake! They sent me over to AofA saying it was available and sadly it was not. I know it’s just cheesecake but it’s a tradition from our many years staying at Pop Century.
All Star Music is king of the busses because you can return on any of the All Star busses and Music is smack dab in the middle of the three. We always just take whichever bus is there already.
At a Hotel you have all of the things like dining accessed through halls & comfort. At a Motel you'll have to brave the elements at times to get to dining & The lobby.
Motels also don’t have large themed pools, gift shops with essentials and aren’t well-known for their customer service. There’s a lot more you can count on here! 😄
Thing is a lot of the Moderate Resorts are also like this with no indoor access to the rooms. So you could say the same thing of about half the Disney Moderate Resorts
Regarding transportation: Could you take the bus to the transportation Depot, then hop on the monorail and go into the parks that way as well? Leaving for Disney in about a mouth and trying to slowly create various plans for getting around.
My adult son (he is 41) & I (I am 68) recently went on a Mom/Son trip & we were booked @ All Star Sports & 2 weeks before leaving got upgraded to a Cars Themed Family Suite @ AoA!!! Wow...what a game changer - 2 full bathrooms, separate bedroom (which my son insisted I take), separate living room area - AND access to the skyliner!! We had a fantastic time!! He goes to Disney World every year & I had not been in 25 years. He made sure his Mom had a good time!!
That's funny that the home run hotel is the farthest hotel 😂🤣⚾️ but not funny that the country resort is way out in the boonies.😡🤬😡🤬 I would stay at this hotel because I ABSOLUTELY LOVE COUNTRY MUSIC 😍🤩☺️🎛🎤📻🥁
We live AoA and Pop. We can more than afford other resorts. But we have mastered the art of resort hopping, plus would just rather spend our money in other ways.
Hello. Any advice on when to buy the dining guide books for a trip in May 2025? We're not novices but it's been a few years since my sister and I have visited. I'm wondering if there will be an updated version of your guide books for 2025. Thanks for any advice you can give!
Can you request a pet free/ allergy friendly room? Also if you have mobility issues can you request a room closer to the lobby? Or would they charge more? Trying to work out if can afford to rent an ECV

Fun to see my nephew in this video. He is the band director of the North Royalton Ohio marching band.
Love the value resorts Pop Century is our go to because of skyliner.
Nothing is a value in the disney bubble
Go else where

I agree and u are just sleeping there. Like Pop Century the best.

I remember when All Start Resort opened and you could stay there for under $100. If you could get a deal it was even less.

I’m doing all 5 parks in one day ( including Disney springs) in about a week wish me luck y’all
You’ve got this!!
@@dfbbreeaHave any tips? I know I need them
Lol! Disney springs ain't considered a theme park, so just 4 parks
Your the BEST❤
I think she meant Cuisinarts and NOT Keurig in the rooms.
Morning 😊
We're excited, been watching your videos for months in preparation for our trip.
We fly in tomorrow!!
Have so much fun!!!!!
Same!!!
We stayed at AS MOVIES and loved it!!! Also unfrosted Pop Tarts are just better.....
That’s what I keep telling her!!
@@dfbbreea otherwise it's just sweet on top of sweet! It's a dispute in my house too 😆
The Value Resorts are Motels. All that means is that each room main doors opens to the outside instead of an inside hallway.
The suite areas of Art of Animation have interior access hallways. The Little Mermaid standard rooms are motel style.
Thing is a lot of the Moderate Resorts are also like this with no indoor access to the rooms. So you could say the same thing of about half the Disney Moderate Resorts
Fish Dad King Who Has Seen Things. I need this on a t-shirt.
😂😂😂
My stay is coming up so soon, what timing on this one!! 🤩
Regarding transportation: Could you take the bus to the transportation Depot, then hop on the monorail and go into the parks that way as well? Leaving for Disney in about a mouth and trying to slowly create various plans for getting around.
No. The busses go to the front of the park. You can go to MK to Epcot using the monorail but all the busses get close to the front of each park

Omg hotel carpets are disgusting. I’m always relieved when I walk into a room and there’s no carpet.

That’s my band at 18:50
How cool!

Pop century is definitely my favorite of the value hotels.
Did she say Bills Themed? Is AJ from Buffalo??
Also happy birthday disney world
yeah north royalton
The Skyliner is my jam

You can and you can book a preferred room to be closer to the lobby. They do charge more but not much more.
@@rynn0077 oo thank you. How far in advance would you suggest putting in the request?
Getting an Uber to go from the parks to the All star is an option when buses are full?
Yes and the Minnie vans as well but. Busses are normally quick
Yes and Minnie vans as well but busses are very quick within the value resorts
You do know they are not cheap, right the buses a free just wait for the next bus
Ok, I was scared of the time I would hace to wait as I will be with small kids. Minie vans are an option indeed
@@sebassebas1374 you won't wait long at the values, especially in the morning. One bus will leave and another will arrive.
Can you share pop and art pools?
Unfortunately no 😭
@@dfbbreea nooooo 😩🤣
I wish!
Music is go to. Why waste money on fancier hotels when the reason for going to Disney World is the Parks. Not going for spas and fancy eats.
