I got my Golf Forever Swing Trainer a couple weeks ago. I also got a new Stealth 2 Plus driver. I’m hitting the ball 20 yards further off the tee and my body feels way better throughout the round and afterwards. I will say, some of these workouts are no joke. They showed me immediately that I’m weak in the scapular area, my glutes are weak, and my ribs are somewhat locked up. It will take some time, but I know this program is going to help my game.

I think the most important questions though, are how did the improvements translate onto swingspeed and ball speed?

Agreed... this seems like really low hanging fruit... like they certainly had to actively choose not to test them. But, why?

These types of videos are great! They show progression, which is great for the game, and improvement!

I started using the GF program a month ago. I'm having similar experiences, lots of new videos. Definitely seeing improvement in range of motion and strength. Like you guys, I'm going to stick with it. 🙂

Thanks so much for grinding for a month. I stopped using it as I got a shoulder injury (from golf) and haven't gone back to it. You've inspired me to take it up again.

Definitely want one of these. After some serious injuries and surgeries I know my biomechanics have changed big time and my range of motion is just not what it used to be. But that’s going to change this year.

What were the improvements to distance and ball speed? Thanks for the great video, I may buy this now.

Be interesting to see if there was an improvement on driver distance, ball speed, and fairway hits

I think that the very best and most useful multifunctional golf trainer and golf accessory is STOW STICK. It is even keeps my golf gear safe and stowed while I’m playing golf.

I'd been doing GolfForever for over a year before the swing trainer came out. When the swing trainer came out over a year ago, it initially made me mad. First, they sold the program as a few resistance bands, some dumbells, and a foam roller, all you needed. Then, they wanted $199 to do the "good workouts." I'm a sucker, so I bought it. It's an ok piece of equipment. And the program is fantastic. It was great before the swing trainer, but it's a better workout now. I haven't seen distance gains, but I've noticed less back pain after golf. More importantly, I've noticed less pain in everyday life. It is an excellent program that has taught me a lot about managing general aches and pains as I get older.
I'm generally hesitant about reviews like these that advertise they get nothing for the glowing reviews. For example, I don't find the swinger trainer useful for a swing warmup. The grip is way too big. It's a very awkward golf club feel. The Orange Whip is a better tool to warm up with. That, of course, comes at a cost of it's own. Additionally, it fits into a crammed golf bag much better. I highly recommend the GolfForever program as a general health and wellness program with or without the swing trainer. For those thriftier types, you could easily build a swing trainer at home for much less than $199 and follow the GolfForever program with the swing trainer.

That's what I was hoping to hear. I'm not really looking for gaining distance (it would be nice though) but more so getting rid of pain and being more flexible. I like the fact that the app picks the workouts for you. The only downside is the app is 200.00 a year, plus another 200.00 for the trainer, but if it gets me more active and in less pain, its worth it.

Some questions I have are: 1. How long are the workouts? (realistic times please from watching the videos to practicing the exercises, to actually performing the exercises). 2. Is the tool that measures the hand speed, backswing distance, etc., included in the purchase? 3. What is the warranty on the equipment? Can you return it for a full refund if youdon’t like it?

I’m considering this for this winter. I’m at the age where flexibility is really declining and my ball speeds are really affected.

Who measures hand speed 🤣 Like all the comments suggest, we need to see clubhead speed and ball speed as well as before and after distances. Thats all that matters

I made my own GF set up with a strong 44.5 inch steel broom handle I already owned, a Yoga Band set off of eBay $24 (comes with to 10,20, 30, 40,50lbs resistance bands and pull handles ) and a carabiner clip. Free training videos on TH-cam

Did you guys start with light or medium bands? If you used both, is there a great disparity between them?

    • @Golficity
      @Golficity  ปีที่แล้ว

I mostly used the light band and substituted the medium band when working out in tighter areas where I had less room to stretch the band for resistance. If I had to estimate, I'd say the medium band is about 25% more firm versus the light band. - Frank

Not sure this qualifies as an 'objective' review. Just like 90% of reviews on Amazon, these companies give these reviewers free product in exchange for a positive endorsement. I think most all of us can take a few very conservative swings, and then take a few more full, more aggressive swings, and yes, some of the metrics will be different.

    • @JackRainfield

They seemed to be pretty honest considering Mike's after speed was slower than his before speed. LOL I was thinking the same as you though before the video.
