    Love your pool hacks!! 🤩
    also, the pools now a day come with an adapter that screw into the drain at the bottom of the pool, they are designed to push open the valve and allow the water to flow out of the pool, that same adapter that scares in the drain plug is compatible to attach your garden hose and redirecting the water out to the street or a more suitable area 😊

    Regarding the liner, I know people put water in it, get in and kick it out or try to smooth it with some kind of tool. But from the outside, we just lifted the liner and pulled the wrinkles out. No water in it so it wasn't too heavy to pull the bottom out. Simple and much faster.

    Does the water have to be all the way to the top for the factory pump to work?

    • @LuckSpinner
      @LuckSpinner  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @chinksy2994 it needs to be above the intake and or the skimmer if you have an upgraded skimmer =)

    • @chinksy2994
      @chinksy2994 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@LuckSpinnerthx I filled it a little pass the skimmer. Then I realized my hose connection to the pump was backwards. I had A connect to B. Silly me. Btw awesome video yours is the only one of its kind related to the same pool I just got

    10,000 gallons, cool. i bought one and set it up in an hour by myself. wanted to know the measurements of the chemicals to put in and didnt know how many gallons it was.

    • @LuckSpinner
      @LuckSpinner  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @kdj29 The instructions usually suck on these pools, an hour on your own is impressive! Props! Yeah, not sure why they don't state the gallons bolder. Kind of the biggest deal as far as maintenance goes. Cheers, hope you enjoy the new pool! 😁🏖

    About how much does it cost to fill it?

    • @LuckSpinner
      @LuckSpinner  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      In my area this was an added $200 to our water bill. If you can find the gallons breakdown on your water bill you calculate it from there. Thank you =)

      @@LuckSpinner thanks just wanted an idea. That's not as much as I expected. I'm in north Alabama so it shouldn't be bad since I'm not in a communist state and things are pretty cheap lol

    great video and we just bought this pool and setup today. Upgrading our pump to the one you suggest. I cannot find any info on how much sand it requires and did you use filtration balls, too? Thanks for the content!

    I don't know if you noticed but you have the holes in the legs on the top and they're supposed to be on the bottom for drainage

    We just purchased the same pool. We also plan on putting it on a concrete slab. Do you suggest putting anything under the pool for protection? Thank you.

    • @LuckSpinner
      @LuckSpinner  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We didn't on this one and it's been fine. Make sure to really sweep or blow away any sharp pepples first. We have used tarps underneath before but those were smaller pools that went on top of sand/dirt. Mostly you want the liner as flat as possible so get as many wrinkles out during filling it, then the cleaning will be easier & your liner will last a lot longer. Congrats on your new pool, hope y'all have so much fun in it! 😁

    I need help! At 3:33 in the vid theres a gray piece under the two black stoppers....does anyone know where that piece goes? I installed everything and never used it and i can't figure out where it was supposed to go

    Why did you choose to buy the Coleman pool over the intex pool?

    • @LuckSpinner
      @LuckSpinner  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      To be honest, it was likely a price or impulse buy on the husband's end, lol. Beleive we've owned both. They both suck when it comes to instructions and customer service. Most parts seem to be universal and interchangeable as long as the specs are right. We do always upgrade the pumps. We've lucked out on them always working out and this pool has the same pattern as the one we bought with the cool windows so I know he saw it and didn't question anything. It was just a matter of our kids growing older and we wanted a bigger pool. We've been happy with it. Not sure I could genuinely argue one brand against the other as they both have been satisfactory for us. I've learned over the years circulation seems to be the most important factor when it comes to these above ground pools, you'll read endless comments of "had it for 2 weeks and it's green". For me maintainence is way more important than the brand, they all compare closely it's a cleaning and chemicals game from there. Hope this helps, happy pooling, cheers! 😁🏖

    Did you have to buy any additional/different fittings when upgrading the pump?I have the same pool and bought the same sand filter pump based on this video…haven’t tried to convert it yet, but want to make sure I have everything I need in advance. Thanks!

    • @LuckSpinner
      @LuckSpinner  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We did not need anything extra. We did buy that pump about 5 years back, so I hope the current one is the same. I'm impressed with Intex pumps & think you should have no problem at all with it. (Ours actually came with extra parts). We love ours still! My worst thing was finding pool sand, our Home Depot had it but I had to ask where (they keep it in a strange area). Good luck! Feel free to ask any other questions along the way! 😁🌊
