I don't know if you have done this, but it could be interesting to look at how Alekhine managed to outplay polisitonal Capablanca in the very posotional QGD in the 1921 Championship.

At 7:38 could black play c6? The difference is if white pushes c5 now you can just side step the queen and he can no longer push his c pawn to c6 to fork the king and rook supported by the pawn. If he wants to land a pawn on c6 he has to take your black pawn holding it with his b5 one but now the white pawn on c6 isn’t supported by another one and you just move as the pawn behind it blocks the queen and rook and eventually you will take that c6 pawn. Also you block off the effectiveness of whites queen and rook

It does boggle the mind how Capablanca acquired such a deep understanding.
Botvinnik said Capablanca was the most talented chess player and he knew all great players from Lasker to Kasparov. Lasker said he knew many chess masters but only one chess genius, Capablanca.
Capablanca was also a prodigy and he became very strong in his early teen years. At this tournament he was getting to his prime, he turned 26 during it

Black could have at least tried a counterattack on the kingside and pushed his pawns in front of Capa's king! If nothing else, those things at least make your opponent think!

Yanovsky would be a better pronunciation.
Yanovsky liked to attack but he was dreadful at endgames. Capa knew he was far, far stronger.
