Fantastic work on the light lancers unit, the flags really make them stand out. I started swapping out to similar plastic containers about 5 years ago and putting the anti-slip matting on the bottom like you're currently doing with your tubs. Keep up the hard work!
Great update Fraser. We’ve been swapping over to rub boxes for a while now, they’re very good and with the anti slip mat, the figures stick to it nicely. Nice work on the cavalry, great colours 😁👍
Have you considered musing magnetic tape on the bases and putting a self adhesive ferrous sheet in the really useful boxes? I've done this with my figures and really keeps them tidy when trasporting and moving them about,
Great idea with the plastic tubs, I do that as well, keeps the water, dust, dirt, and bugs off the figures. The mounted figures are looking really sweet. Great stuff.
I'm sure Molly had a lovely time with you both. I've currently got my Westie, Archie who is about the same age, and a new arrival, Dill. His owners are divorcing, they've both moved to rented flats and neither landlord wants pets. So Dill has arrived on a long term foster basis - he mostly sat outside on the terrace for the first week and I was getting worried about him - but he is spending more and more time inside the house, and comes to me for cuddles in the morning. He runs a bit with the younger dogs when he feels like it but mostly he's happy watching them from the terrace.
For the spirals on the lances have you tried very thin strips of paper wound around them onto a thin coat of PVA. I did some and printed out designs on my printer, fiddly but they looked spectacular. All the best, Fraser give your old mutt a pat from me!.
They are useful boxes. I have had that non slip material go sticky. It was in a tool drawer so might have had something else get on it and dissolve the covering substance. Something to be aware of perhaps.
Great work as allways I am sure the lances will look top notch but spiral lances sounds like a horror movie to me in the immortal words of monty python run away
Once again, excellent work! I have a box of the Perry light cavalry that I will be working on soon. Have ordered a second box as well so I can have some with spear and some with bow/crossbow.
RUB boxes are really good. The 11L is a good size, you can get a deeper lid as well fork pikes, lances, flags, ships masts. They also do a trays for that size 6 or 12 compartment. Got about 30 of them, some magnetized. For the amount I spend on my armies it's worth it and they stack well. I use the 21L as well for trees and buildings. Great job on the minis as usual. 😉
Fraser, try using Tamiya thin masking tape to do the spirals on the lances (some type of making will make it more practical). Good luck mate spirals are not easy on a real surface its a bit of a PITA.
Great update, beautiful florentine cavalry. Take care and have some great time with your lovely dogs. 👍
Thanks Mate 👍
Very nice painting Fraser. Like the horses 😊. I have brought alot of them really useful boxers for my figures.
Thanks for the comment 👍

I have but the anti slip mat seems to be working, for Now!
The time of year has come round to new projects, shows and spraying in the back garden! Nice update- helps keep me motivated.
Thanks Mate. Did laugh when I read that you were spraying in the back garden, very infantile of me!
@@vonketteringham not the same kind of spraying my dog does! 😂😕👀

Beautiful figures.
Wishing the best of health to Molly.
Fingers crossed Mate 👍
Good that your holiday has refreshed your enthusium. Nice unit of cavalry. Put a label on each face of the box as to whats in the box.
Thanks Mate 👍👍

Happy to let you do them for me☺

Thanks Joseph. Will certainly be getting some more, very useful box👍👍
I have been watching your channel for so long and never noticed your tattoo before, I might need to wear my magnifying goggles to watch you tube now.
Tattoo is a cover up of a very old one, bit bigger though ☺
Very nice cavalry unit mate. Great update
Thanks Stephen 👍

Cheers Simon. Expensive but well worth it👍👍
I wonder if some painters tape painted into thin strips would make painting the spiral lances a bit easier?
Am not looking forward to it at all!

Well said!🙂
