- The second part in the series to restore a PSA High Pressure Fuel Pump fitted to the Mini Citroën Peugeot engine. In this part, we replace the drive seal and fill the unit with oil ready to go on the engine. I also cover how to refill again in the future if needed.

Where can i buy the parts you used ?
How many km did you manage to do on the refilled pump
The one is this video hasn't been fitted as I'm still running a test on another thats at 28mm and still going fine. It's in the boot of the car as a back up thou. Keep us posted. You can do it. 👍
I thought about using power steering pump hydraulic oil , what's your opinion please ?
Yes you could try as it's a hydraulic fluid. Keep us posted on how it goes. You can do it 👍
se puede usar aceite motor 5w30?
Not really as will work but not for long
hola soy de chile , cual es la medida de el reten para buscarlo , o mande el link . porfavor.
Hello, i from Peruvian, Oring Spare Part, please, Where do you buy the oring that you change please?
Hi, I found a bearing supplier and ordered from them as they usually also sell oil seals. If you quote the size they should have them. Make sure its good for over 120 degrees c. You can do it :)
These are both great videos! Do you have a link to where I might be able to purchase the seals and the nipple you used for the rebuild?
Nipple is just a normal grease nipple. Seal must be Brown high temp. I'll look up details.
@@YoucandoitwithJulesI’d be very happy and thankful if you could help with where to source from, sizes and material of the seals. Could I email you? Thanks,
Jack
Hi how much would you charge to buy one from you / send mine and have you rebuild it? Very very interested. Thanks,
Jack (Uk based near bath/Bristol.)
Hi yes that's an idea. I'm just thinking how you can get it to me as I'm over in Germany at the moment. You can do it 👍
@@YoucandoitwithJules cheers for the reply. Just let me know if possible and I’ll put my email address up on here for you.
Im interested to buy one. Im located in London
Hi I'm in Europe at the moment. You can do it 👍
@@YoucandoitwithJulesI was just about to ask the same question about buying one. Do you think it’s worth me buying a cheap broken one for £50 off breakers yard and then giving it a go at refurbishing. Before removing the one I have currently fitted to my 2007 Mini Cooper S.
the seals and the oil are my only worry in sourcing the correct bits as I have no clue or even know where to start sourcing. I see they sell a rebuild kit for £183 from a seller on eBay but thats not a option now.
@@BlaxJakx Difficult to answer as it depends on your skills, tool availability etc. Nothing to lose for 50 pound to buy a used one and give it at go. You could start with just sorting the oil out and then if you get it to work you can look at sourcing a seal for another time. You can do it 👍
@@YoucandoitwithJules I have commented in regards to buying one rebuilt off yourself (send a donor if preferred). Very interested if this is something you’d do. For skills, I’m pretty handy, have changed engines and done simple things like cam belt and can work my way around a older engine but it’s the tooling that’s the struggle as I’ve got a basic tool kit and confidence to remove the pump and empty the oil out of it and refill with gearbox oil or whatever is recommended but like I say above I would be very very interested in buying a pump / having one totally refurbished by yourself. Do you have any other contact information, I’ll leave my email if you don’t want to leave yours on here? Thanks for the reply mate.
U back în UK now? Im interested în having one refurbished as well if u still away can i get The parts number for The seal and The oil u used cheers
Hi. can you possibly sell me one of the pumps that you have rebuilt
Where are you based ?
USA New York
Why just not text the part number of the seal mate ? And all sizes witch required for it . Simple for everyone… thanks
