man out of all the videos in the internet and searching forums this is the only video that does the same thing for my 350z im relieved, always was thinking its the clutch but this makes me more content
Currently having the same issue, havent had the time to go test it out the way you did on the video but this definitely gave me some relief since a “mechanic” told me my transmission was done for. Thanks for this video 👏🏽
@@OnlineAutoRepairVideos hey, i didnt have the exact same results. In my case the front wheel would start rotating on their own does that mean the clutch is almost completely gone? Or is it something else thank you!
I have a 2009 manual transmission Honda Accord and my issue is slightly different. My car accelerates in lower gears but while it’s in 4th or 5th it doesn’t seem to do it. The engine will rev but the vehicle won’t accelerate. I noticed this especially on inclines.
Not only have the emergency brake on but chock the wheels as well if you don't have an actual wheel chock you can use a very heavy Rock or a thick piece of wood
I have a 2007 honda accord vtech 3.0 and it starts and drives but after about 10 mins it feels like it goes in neutral and don't go so I turn it off and back on and it will drive and do it again do you know what it could be
okay so my 2005 honda accord does this i can put it in gear without it stalling and I just got my clutch replaced it worked for a few months then it stopped moving after a cv axle replacement so is it my clutch again or do i need to repair my cv axle again?
My 2007 accord doesn’t move from idle till my foot is totally off the clutch pedal , is this normal? Plus after slowing down, picking up is slow and grinding. Otherwise movement is good. Pls what could be the cause ?
My car goes into gear it grinds if u mess up but it doesn’t want to move I have to get the rpm up high to have it move and that’s on any gear any suggestions on what that is
Very informative vid. If you were to rotate the crankshaft manually with the spark plugs removed and the car in gear NOT neutral, could that cause the gearbox to become lost in between two gears? I mistakenly rotated the crank on my Acura Integra counter clockwise while it was in gear one, the crank moved marginally then it wouldn't budge. With the shifter in neutral the crank still wont budge rotating counter clockwise, it only rotates clockwise without much resistance. Honda B-Series motor operate counter clockwise so that is the direction that the crank is suppose to be rotated. Could the shifter be stuck in between two gears? I tried pushing the car in neutral, it rolls forward and reverse with a bit more resistance than normal making a loud whining noise. I removed all serpentine belts (AC, PS, and Alternator) dismounted the starter and distributor though the issue still persists. I highly doubt the motor is out of time or there is an issue with the tensioner since it is rather new. Could it be something to do with the shift linkage? I tried pouring Marvel Mystery oil down the spark plug holes and no such luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
@@OnlineAutoRepairVideosThank you for your reply. I tried rotating the crank counter clockwise with the front two wheels off of the ground on jack stands, it dosent budge only in the clockwise direction.
@@OnlineAutoRepairVideos I was hesitant to rotate the crank clockwise a full revolution (one full turn) since you are not suppose to rotate a Honda B-series motor clockwise. I only rotated the crank clockwise a little bit to see if it would turn in that direction.
I’m having the same issue with my 2006 RSX 6 speed manual. I heard a click sound leaving my drive way and the car stopped moving. I replaced the clutch. The shifter cables are good. I bleed the Slave cylinder and it’s working properly. The transmission goes into gear, but the car doesn’t move.... I noticed my transmission doesn’t grind when you place it in gear without pushing the clutch while the car is running. Why is that?
I was having issues with my 2004 Honda Civic ex (Manuel). After driving it for more than 10mins, my car would reduce speed until no movement at all. And my driver side caliper would heat up. So I replaced both front calipers, brake pads and brake booster but it still does the same thing. What can it be?????
WHOA!!! You're right, what's up with that, LOL. That was a GOOD one, DANG IT, I would have loved to use that one in the video, maybe if we get the job!!

Does that test work for rear wheel drive vehicles too?

THANKS! Been checking you out Bro, KEEP IT UP!!!
If yu still hear grinding but only in the higher gears. What would that mean?
I have a 2005 Acura TSX same problem but with an automatic transmission, no check engine light or anything :( what could it be?

Try turning the motor with BOTH wheels off the ground. If it turns, then your problem will be transmission or shifter related.

It definitely seems something is broken inside the transmission.
Francisco did u see what ur issue was
CV axle
What was the problm
Mine do the same the opel Gama 1,8
Mines well just did mine again
Ok so what was the issue?. Is their a video for fixing it?.
Why were you able to move the gears around without putting the clutch in
joshua smith engine not spinning

What can it be?????
It could be the brake hose is collapsing.
I have a 2002 mercury cougar and it’s doing the exact same thing as shown in this video so I’d probably need a new clutch?
Maybe
Astral Auto Repairs okay the person I bought it from said it needed to be bled could that be it too
No, it would still go into gear.
Astral Auto Repairs okay so therefore I probably just needa put a new clutch in it ?
@@mse_playz7968 Just make sure the shifter does feel like it's not broken, but it does seem like you need a clutch. Keep us posted!
2007 Honda, oh yeah That's one of those May Honda's. Maybe I'll work today Maybe I won't lol
LOL
mine won’t even let me go into gear
What’s was wrong with the car in the end was it just the clutch the whole time ?
No answer??? Lol
I’m wondering the same
At 10:05 he said it's the clutch
10:05 he said and later Silvia said it's the clutch disc
Great information
Thanks Hector!
Are you doing the job on Wildberry dr?
Hopefully the flywheel isn't too badly damaged.
Hopefully we DON'T get this job, I do not like transmissions, lol!
What about the Master bedroom... how would a real estate present that room for their sale..
So I guess they changed the other room to the "GUEST" room, lol.
Can't wait to see this one. I hate Hondas people always say they are very good cars actually they are made very poorly
Hey Adnan. Really? we always thought they were great cars.
Tim you got it there is no job big enough for you
I HATE TRANSMISSIONS! The book calls for 10 hours on this job.
Astral Auto Repairs holy cow 🐄
LOL Matt!
This job is going to suck,,,,, Not For Me, LMBO.
LOL
And why do they call it a Master cylinder and slave cylinder.. isn't that kind of racist?
