    I lived close to Makkah 10 years, I ve been to Kaba more than 18 times. there are 2 important feelings: 1. very very very close to Allah and in peace that's why we cry. 2. the second feeling is walking through history in the tories of Hajar, Ibrahim, Ismael and Mohammad peace an blessings be upon all of them.

    Seeing the Kaaba for the first time was so emotional, it’s such a surreal feeling knowing all the history that’s taken place. It’s such a beautiful feeling, InshaAllah everyone gets to experience that 🥹

    Bismillah. Answering your last comment, our obligation as a muslim is to worship Allah as our creator, obey and practicing all of His ruling, and stay away of all of his prohibition, as much as we could. We are not obligated to master all of them, because that would be impossible for human, but we need to do our best. And your journey learning from the story of the prophets its the first step to understand the same message from Adam until Muhammad (PBUAoT),it is the message of worshiping the ONE creator. Hopefully Allah make it easy for you and for all of us. Ameen. Allah knows best.

    I've been enjoying your reactions to these videos! I'm from Houston, TX - more than welcome to visit us!
    Keep'em coming.
    For Muslims, the greatest ever miracle revealed to mankind is the Qur'an (literally the speech of GOD/ALLAH), which solidifies our faith/believe in Islam, as well as the prophethood of Muhammad PBUH.
    1- Qur'an is ONLY in Arabic.
    2- All translations of Qur'an are mere interpretations, as there is no way to fully translate the meaning. Reading Qur'an in English vs. Arabic is as seeing a picture of the pyramids vs. actually going to Egypt and seeing them in-person --- Just doesn't compare --- but that is not to discourage anyone from reading the translation, as you'll still get the message, without the linguistic miracles. FYI: Most Muslims are non-Arabs (over 80%). You'll still see other signs/miracles related to science, history, numbers, structure, etc ...
    3- Life of Prophet Muhammad PBUH is very well documented in Seerah/Hadiths/other historical books - which compliments, as well as supplements the message of the Qur'an. Hadiths are not God's words, but compiled by humans, so there are possible errors, which are flagged by all the compilers thru a grading system, so it is important to consult an educated person about them, if something doesn't sit right.
    4- The clarity about God, as well origin of creation, and end of times, etc, is so clearly defined in Islam that it boosts a Muslim's faith.
    - Qur'an isn't for a particular time and people, it is timeless --- meaning it is as relevant in 2023 as it was almost 1500 back at the time of the Prophet PBUH.
    I have a few suggestions - I hope you can get a chance to get to them.
    - Linguistic Miracles of Qur'an (short): th-cam.com/video/abzZL_3Av2E/w-d-xo.html
    - Linguistic Miracles of Qur'an (long): th-cam.com/video/jgbWamEDui8/w-d-xo.html (long video, perhaps you guys can do it in 3 or 4 parts)
    - Qur'an unlocks ancient Egypt's mystery: th-cam.com/video/NtkGXAJ2Nzw/w-d-xo.html (long video, break up in 2 parts?)
    - Islam's depth: th-cam.com/video/CwnUyQYBTNU/w-d-xo.html
    - Empire of Faith: th-cam.com/video/uxnT1Trn5kc/w-d-xo.html (documentary; break down in 5-7 parts)

    Oh God, make this country safe.
    The supplication of our Prophet Ibrahim, peace be upon him.
    Everyone who went to Mecca talked about the peace he felt and the wonderful, indescribable feeling.
    There is a young man who converted to Islam a few years ago, his name is Jay Palfrey, he went to Mecca and to Medinah, and he said that he had never felt this feeling in his life.
    Thank God for the blessing of Islam.

    Visiting the Kaaba is like no other experience in the world. To describe it as awe inspiring is to do it a great disservice.
    One is flooded with so many emotions, it is difficult to cope with them. Contemplation for a few minutes allows one to process these emotions. Though, you don't get close to encapsulating these emotions,, yet there is extreme joy in the process of trying.
    The more knowledge one has, the more can one appreciate this experience.

    Brother, you asked how does one feel when visiting the Kaaba. The build up to arriving and looking at the Kaaba is immense, especially the one who knows the history and his connection to Allah and Mohammed SAW. It is pure emotional and we all cry, I don’t think there is anyone who visits it who does not cry. Crying with many emotions for we pray towards it 5 times a day and to see it for the 1st time is overwhelming.

    I went to Mecca for umra at 2013 with my belated grandmother. She was in her 80's at that time. Seeing kaaba was an undescribable feeling. It's otherwordly. It's like another realm, like in outer space, but on earth. The peace, the tranquility. There's so much people there, but the calmness, subhanallah! This is a place where everything can happen. This place can show the true self of every person. And every deeds you have done can get instant reward or retribution here. My grandfather passed away not long before we go for umra, and my grandma said that she saw him when we were doing thawaf around kaaba. If you ask an umra or hajj guide, you will get many interesting stories. One famous instance was when a woman cannot see the kaaba while it was right in front of her! Another instance was a man repeatedly comes back to do umra despite it's high cost because he asked for it every time he goes for umra. And many other stories.
    One point that i always got from any teacher or umra and hajj guide. You do not go for umra or hajj because you have what it needs to go there, but because Allah SWT invited you. Even if you have the money, the time and the perfect condition, it's not a guarantee that you can go. So the first thing to do for anyone wants to go there is ask Allah to invite you. And then do your effort, deposit any amount of money to proof your intention. Keep asking and asking, and do not despair.
    Thanks for the reaction as always. Hope you're okay and can resolve your problem quickly. Remember, whatever you experience now, Allah already knows the solution even before you got the problem. Ask Him for the solution. Put your trust on Him, don't put trust solely on yourself. We are weak, He is powerful. We are flawed, He is perfect. May Allah guide you.

    I am enjoying these series, and even as a born Muslim, I am learning a lot from the stories. Especially when you reacted to Prophet Saleh and the camel, I felt as I am hearing the story for the first time. You don’t have to know everything to become a Muslim. At least you should know the basics. For example, the pillars of faith.
    The Six Pillars of Faith are:
    * Belief in Allah.
    * Belief in His Angels.
    * Belief in His Books.
    * Belief in His Messengers.
    * Belief in The Last Day.
    * Belief in Destiny
    Once you have the right belief, you will slowly start applying, and the first thing you can start with is the five daily prayers.
    I wish you all the best for the week. Always remember that whatever Allah plans is the best for you.

    Regarding the story and historical exposure, there may be some minor differences here and there. but that's not the point.
    The most important thing for us to take is the life lesson from those noble people, and (of course) the continuation of the message brought by the prophets and messengers of Allah, and that is to worship only Allah alone.

    I went ( Omrah) the first time I saw Kaabah was indescribable. A feeling of hope to be forgiven and some kind of peace I've never felt before. While walking back and forth in Safa & Marwah I remembered Our Mother ( Hajar ) which made me love her more. It was long way but she was doing it for the sake of her baby. In Shaa Allah one day I'll go to Hajj ( pilgrimage) and follow the rest of the steps that Ibraheem AS had done to please Allah SWT

    04:20 "...Perhaps you dislike something good for you and like something bad for you. Allah knows and you do not know." Quran surah Al-Baqarah 2:216
    09:57 What a great woman she was!
    16:40 Allah will NEVER abandon a dua of a believer; He'll grant it at the right time, or He'll answer it in a better way and form (maybe not exactly as we think is the best for us), or He'll postpone it to accumulate abundantly for our Hereafter
    27:33 That's why - as a Muslim father - the Eid Al-Adha (Islamic annual sacrifice day) has never been a much burden to me, because I realize that if Allah wanted, on this particular day I should have sacrificed my son, not an animal, alhamdulillah
    42:45 I've never been there, it's my ultimate dream place to visit. Just by imagining it, my eyes got watery, I'm pretty sure if Allah grants me the opportunity to visit Kabah (aamiin), I'll be weeping most of the time there...
    45:46 See? I cried just from hearing that phrase, "O Allah, I am here!", Labbayk Allahuma Labbayk...
    54:14 It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
    "Seeking knowledge is a duty upon every Muslim, and he who imparts knowledge to those who do not deserve it, is like one who puts a necklace of jewels, pearls, and gold around the neck of wines." - Sunan Ibn Majah 224. Our learning journey will never end until we reach our grave
    Allah Knows Best. Salam...
