He lost his best friend, his wife, his unborn child and yet he's still humble man and professional.
Yes he is humble when in the public but I'd bet my last quarter that when he is home alone he still looks at his wife's picture and bawls his eyes out. And if that is true I feel so sorry for him to still feel the loss as if it happened today.
What I loved about his speech is how he wants to "personally" thank everyone if they are there. He does not just read the paper and say "I thank my producer my agent etc etc..." He wants to look them in the eye while thanking them and when he can't find them he asks "where are you" so he can look them "in the eye" and thank personally. This is a typical characteristics of a person who is genuinely sincere and in touch.
He could have talked about himself but he spent 80% of the time thank everyone else. God bless you brother!
