DUE to an incredibly rare condition, a teenager’s bones are quite literally vanishing. Born with a disease that means her body slowly absorbs the calcium designated for her bones, Natalia Villegas’ bones are slowly disappearing. Natalia, 14, wasn’t diagnosed with Idiopathic Multicentric Osteolysis, or IMO, until she was two-year-old; so little is known about IMO - there are only 100 known cases in the world - that there is currently no cure. Also referred to as the ‘vanishing bone disease’, Natalia admits she is in constant pain but won’t let that stop her from living as full and independent a life as possible.

I guess sometimes going to hard stuff gives you experience and you grow better to cope with it. She seems to have a great attitude.

All life have worth and value, we’re created in the image of God with a purpose. It’s normal to complain. It doesn’t matter, what color we are, short, tall, disability.. ect. We are all human beings. Be grateful for things you have in life and have humility. Mathew 25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. It's amazing that the people with the most horrific problems with their health are the kindest, most optimistic people you'll meet. Not to stereotype, but it's in my experience. I get angry with doctors that want to manage her pain. She is suffering, it's not like she has many years ahead of her. Stop worrying she'll become an addict and worry about the quality of life she has now. Don't make her suffer needlessly.

They look comfortable but disability social security checks help her im sure, plus she probably gets medicaid since she is disabled which covers most if not all of her medical bills

@@mr.sushi2221 medicaid is for low income or some people get if disabled and medicare is for 65 and older you have to pay a premium( required) plus get a supplemental insurance.this girl is only 14 so its possible shes on her parents insurance through their work and not on medicaid.most people with disabilities get money from the government because they really need the help.we do not have free health care for all here in America but the UK does have free health care for all im told

Doyou Wannabite I was born with deaf since my ear nerve damaged before was born as my grandpa was deaf. I believe god sent me someone special as existly she has it as just happened. She have to appect with it as existly I do the same thing. She can do in her best as I can do. I working my job at Pilgrim’s pride chicken plant for passed 20 years. Deaf can do alike u do, making no sense. No big deal.

There's no treatment or cure for this, being a rare case. That's why none 9f the doctors have input/experiment of what you've said. *As I know tho*
The problem is fake bones only work because they are attached to other bones (like a hip replacement). It would be impossible unless you replaced every bone in her body with steel.

What a beautiful young lady! What I've learned from this channel and Special Books for Special Kids is they have a far better appreciation towards life, love and family. Too many people who take their fully functioning bodies for granted believe life "is against them" yet people like Natalia don't let anything get in the way of enjoying those special moments with people we know and/or love. Hope this young lady has a wonderful life filled with amazing caring people who see her for the awesome person she is! Never give up!!

Such a strong brave young lady. Bone pain is the absolute worst. Living with it every day makes keeping your spirit up and not getting depressed very very hard. I have 3 bone diseases from 10 years on dialysis between my 3 kidney transplants and I know how hard it is living with constant bone pain day in and day out. She has such a fantastic personality and outlook and spirit. Bless her :-)
