I have had a second monitor for over 4 or 5 months and for me it`s been game changer! I run an online business and a lot of time I have a lot on my plate and have to do many things at once and having second monitor is just the best decision ever. As you said, I believe that the quality of the monitor is not the most important, but you can understand the importance of having more monitors only when you have it!
