Does this web interface works also on different browsers? At least for the configuration part and setting the grid on the alarm page. I see that you have Firefox installed, it would have been nice to show it if would work with it. For example I do not have Internet Explorer if needed, which would be a problem for me and many others.
We recommend using Internet Explorer, as not all browsers support the required plugins. You might get some compatibility issues. If you do experience issues with your browser, you can always run the EZ Station software from your computer to manage and view your cameras without using a web browser.
Great video finally about the camera web interface. I habe a few questions however... Does the FTP give you the possibility to save/store only snapshot or also video? If I want to record a video (on the FTP server) when an alarm is triggered is it possible or not?
You can only save snapshots with FTP. If you want to save video from the camera without an NVR, you'll need to connect it to a NAS (network attached storage).
Tyler thanks so much for the videos, as in Australia we have almost no customer service from UNV here. I was wondering if you could possibly tell me why my cameras went from having a wider view to, basically, they seem to be cutting both sides off the picture and maybe a little off the top and bottom, as well. Maybe it was in panoramic view before or something? I have sent messages to the company and gotten nothing back for months. The installer has fallen off the earth as well it seems. There were recent updates that were done at the time, but not at the exact time that the video seems to have changed. Where it changes there is a small gap of about three minutes, in the playback record, on all 8 cams, then it switches to this new tighter view. It's really stumping me. Any information you are willing to share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the kind words Westin! It would depend on the model of the camera, along with the Mainstream and Substream aspect ratios. If you know the brand of the camera, you can try contacting that manufacturer, or even the people at ipcamtalk.com are pretty knowledgeable on CCTV brands as well.
@@NellysSecurity Thank you, I have tried to get the manufacturer as well as the installer to no avail. the brand is Uniview (UNV) I will try the link you suggested. I appreciate it.
Some UNV cameras do support 2way audio and even have builtin speakers and Mic! Example -> www.nellyssecurity.com/unv-4mp-ndaa-compliant-weatherproof-turret-ip-security-camera-with-smart-intrusion-prevention-and-a-2-8mm-fixed-lens-ipc3614sb-adf28kmc-i0.html Feel free to reach out to our sales team for additional advice as well -> customerservice@nellyssecurity.com / 855-340-9999
If you purchased the NVR from us, you can contact our support -> customerservice@nellyssecurity.com / 855-340-9999 If it didnt come to us, you may try contacting UNV directly.
Hopeless web interface from UNV. Trying to get path format correct for NAS file storage but cant figure out how to format - running NAS Test, just spins. Using the same path as what my scanner uses to assure it would work and still no go. Any idea anyone? Sample format with user:password maybe too? Even uniview site is down today..

Unfortunately no, the software is only available for Windows and Mac.
