I know that this an older video but today in 2022 I'm grateful for this walk through. My husband got me a cricut for christmas and I've been stumped and ... frankly over whelmed to use it! So, Thank you! Just gained a little more confidence. :)
To punch the holes, place two circles on top and weld them. Select circles and the top banner and slice. Move the top banner and delete pair of circles. There will be another two circles underneath, already welded. They are result of the slice operation. Select those circles and the bottom banner and slice again. Then just delete excess circles. Done! No need to move banners back and forth all the time and punching holes one by one.
This helped me out so much. My banner for my son looks awesome! It really made an impact. I love making my own since I can choose which colors and which fonts. The most helpful tip was how to thread them! Without your tip my banner wouldn't have looked as nice, thanks!
I'm looking into finally getting a Cricut. Love this tutorial & how easy it seems based on your step by step instructions! If/when I finally get one, I'll be returning to this video for help on a banner! Thanks.
New here sorry. Can I adjust the size of the cardstock that I'm using?? I see that yours covers the whole mat. What about if I'm using a smaller size? Ty 🙂 and thank you for this video

Yes just change the material size on your screen that shows your mat. But as long as your design fits your material you don't have to change the size
@@CorinneBlackstone thank you for your help 🙂

Hi! I need to do a banner for a 6ft table. What size penants should I use/make? Its for 11 pieces. I have it set at 4.5*5.5. Not sure what the general aize is😖😖 Help!
Divide 6 feet by 11 figure out how big the largest you can go is and reduce it by about an inch to leave a little space
Thank you! I learned a lot from this. Really appreciate it!
Thank you, this video was really helpful ❤️
👍🏽👍🏽
Can’t wait to try
Thanks so much!
What size is normal banner pennant ??
typically 3-5 inches depending on the design
Great video!!!
How large are these banners?
I have no idea anymore. This video is really old
Thank you for this video! Also I didnt know you could filter for free things! You are super helpful💖
help! my little circle are cutting out separately. my slice button is grayed out. what should i do?
your slice is grayed out becaus eyou have more than two things selected or no things selected. you need to attach or slice out your circles.
Making my first banner, you make it look so easy. 😊 Thank you. What's the standard banner size?
There really isn't a standard size. i would say 5 inches is probably normal
Hello, would you mind telling me what is the gsm you use for the banner? Mine seems to curl when I try to lift it from the blue mat. Thank you.
Jtru not sure what you mean by gsm. I actually flip my mat over and peel it off from the cardstock and my mat isnt super sticky
Sorry to confuse you but I was referring to the card stock. Do you know what is the thickness of the card as the card I use is 70gsm.
Jtru i will have to check! I can tell you its from michaels in the big packs of 12x12 books. But i will look at the book when i get home
I am from the UK and we don't have Michaels here. :( Thank you very much! I really appreciate it.
I looked and there is no weight listed on the packs :( They are a medium heavy though I hope that helps.
I'm stuck on the hole punching feature where she says i have to slice every pennant. I cant seem to get that part on my end, can someone help?
You probably already found out but in case you haven't, see my post to OP.
What type of printer is that???
canon pixma mg 3022
I did everything in the beginning of your video, but I only get 3 banners. Luckily, the one you chose was one of the options.
cricut changes their files and images a lot but you can always pull one off Google too.
How do you use dafont.com?
Heres a video for that. th-cam.com/video/OIrdSGGdGyM/w-d-xo.html
I watched the video twice and didn't hear the size. Can you correct me if I'm wrong, the height is 5.3?
Kayla Hernandez correct but you can make them any size you want
Mine will not slice the dots 🤦♀️
Make sure you only have two things selected.
I'm having the same issue.
I cannot get the second dot to slice, either.
Hi what size are your banners and what font did you use?
Heather Porter its all mentioned in the video
