Hello, unfortunately I have no idea. I haven't seen the one with glue and I haven't measured mine before installation. (note: I don't really see the logic to have different sizes for the diaphragms if the pistons are the same sized.
Thanx for the heads up. Actually I was searching beforehand but I couldn't find any info on this. Then I have decided to put everything back to the same position like it was because: - apparently there was no sign of any malfunction caused by the position - one guy mentioned that he had no issue when he accidentally changed the position - the surfaces were a bit worn (no any damage just some areas were more shiny than the others) and this way they have got back to their original place (just to avoid eat up other parts) However it is not relevant to me anymore but in case others interested, could you please share the source of this info?
S T I worked as a Honda mechanic from 1980 to 1994. Went on several honda training courses . Worked on many carburettors, keihin, mikuni, Amal. The vacuum is greater on the engine side of the slide and vacuum port must be down airstream so the chamber will depressurised as effectively as possible. I still have a 94 transalp and changed my diaphragms without taking off the bike. I have some uploaded video of my transalp etc.
@@romakayak Is there a mark to line it to 10 degrees? I have an 87 transalp and am hoping together to this. My only source for a new diaphragm appears to be ebay/china and would prefer to do this once and solve my throttle hesitation. Hopefully I can do this repair with the carb still mounted on the bike and gas tank removed.
Hi, is the glue type 25mm inside diameter while the 30mm diameter type is the one without glue? The one in the video appears to be 30mm. Thank you.

The vacuum hole in the slide should be 10° left of the diaphragm tab. You appear to have yours opposite each other, ex 180°

WD40 was used as it is rubber friendly.
