Patrick Swayze was beyond talented. Acting, dancing, singing, surfing, skydiving, riding & raising horses, he was the total package and best part humble and kind.

He was a man of many talents, after he starred in GHOST, his career just took off , he was known for his acting , people just adored him , he was sexy , like a lot of greats he passed to soon , greatly missed 😥😊.
Ghost is a great movie, but it's not the movie that put him on the map. That was Dirty Dancing that came out three years before Ghost. After that was Roadhouse, then Ghost. All three were popular movies of the time. Heck I remember him from the episode of M*A*S*H he played in, too :D
He was known waaaaaay before Ghost. Check out The Outsiders, Red Dawn, Roadhouse, Next Of Kin, Dirty Dancing - those all come before Ghost and were very popular movies he was known for.
This song was pretty good for someone who was mainly an actor. I didn’t know he could sing but he did a nice job here. He was multitalented & Lord knows he could dance 💕
he wasnt known for singing. so this song surprised everybody. The female is Wendy Fraser. She sang on a few soundtracks. She sang on "cant you feel the love tonight" from Lion king.
His mother was a professional dancer so he learned to dance at an early age. His wife, whom you saw in the last few pictures was also a dancer. He has starred in a lot of movies but Ghost, Dirty Dancing and Road House were the three he is most known for. You should check them out. We lost Patrick way too soon to cancer. He is missed.
He did of what my mom died of, pancreatic cancer. But I can only think of Family Guys "Road House" clip lol watching that movie I have to say "Road House" every time Swayze kicked anything lol
After his death it came out she was abusive to Patrick, but he never fought back. Didn’t take her long and she remarried. She denied his brothers of items Patrick wanted them to have.
He WAS such a talented guy. I still find it hard to believe that he's gone. This was a beautiful song. I guess he was so busy with acting, he didn't have time to record. This song was used in the film he was in, "Dirty Dancing." If you've never seen it, you should. I think you'd enjoy it very much. As always, great reaction.
Laughing because I clicked for next song after Chris de Burgh and thought YT would take me here but it brought me to your reaction of Queen and Bohemian Raspody. Man you’ve grown this channel since that reaction and you start to know more songs than any of your peers. Just keep going, there are so many songs that are forgotten or mot played and you’re bringing them back. 👍🏼
Just relax, it doesn’t matter how you pronounce his name, he is still one of one of the most talented men of all times. You really must watch the movie Dirty Dancing, he had moves that were unreal. Of course his looks did not hurt him a bit. Wish he had not died so young, I miss him❤️❤️
I second this, dirty dancing is an amazing movie, a few years ago I got my dad he's first real Blu Ray, special edition/limited edition of dirty dancing
Patrick Swayze was an exquisite, professionally talented dancer. He was in a lot of great movies, was in love with his professionally trained dancer wife, and they lived on a working ranch. He was hard working and humble, very well-liked. And when Ghost came out, we found out he could sing too. He is missed. 💕 This is a classy reaction, thank you.
I don't know how many of you are aware of this, but Patrick not only sang this, he WROTE it, and 'She's Like The Wind' is just one of many songs he composed himself.
Oh emm Geee, take me back slow dancing with my husband and him singing this to me :') In Dirty Dancing his character was a Resort dance instructor and Baby was a vacationing daughter of a well off family who took lessons and they fell in love. That's why he felt like she was out of his league. You have to watch it if you haven't! There's so many good songs in this movie. I used to have the soundtrack for years and it never got old, just too scratched! Thank you friend! 🙋
He did this song for his beautiful wife and for the movie Dirty Dancing, check it out and Road House, and Ghost! He was married for more than 30 years before he passed.
This man could do it all. Sing, act and dance. There's a video on you tube of him and his wife dancing so beautifully . And he was GORGEOUS too. RIP Patrick. Gone too soon
I love this song and it's in the film Dirty Dancing I believe. Its pronounced Swayzee, he has a lovely voice and the words are so clear. I also love the instrumentals especially the saxophone. He passed away so young bless him. A very good choice for the channel Jayvee. God bless you all, love hugs and peace to everyone Mary-Ellen UK
It is not technically music, but you should see Patrick Swayze and his wife Lisa Niemi dancing at World Music Awards 1994. It was such a beautiful, sublime performance.
He was definitely eye candy! But, damn, he movies were really entertaining and always good to watch again. Boy could he dance. Very talented man. Watch Dirty Dancing, Ghost, and Roadhouse.
I fell in love with Patrick in Dirty Dancing and the mini series- North and South. I met him in person when he stared in Guys and Dolls, in the West End, London. One of the best moments of my life. I shook his hand. Such a beautiful person. Rest in Peace Patrick. You will be forever missed.
There was a documentary on Netflix about the making of Dirty Dancing, and I guess they were scrambling for songs for the soundtrack and put this in at the last minute.
Oh man🥰😍!! My first love. I was seven years old when I first saw Dirty Dancing. I had no clue how dirty it was. I just thought he was the most handsome ever. The dancing and music was awesome. I have no idea why my mom let me watch this but I’m glad she did.
That man was FINE!!! Although most associate him with Ghost, Dirty Dancing, and Road House, but for me, he will always be General Orry Main in the North and South miniseries. RIP Patrick 😔
One hit wonder as a singer, but he was one of the biggest box office stars of his generation. With his busy acting schedule at that time, it's not a real surprise that he didn't pursue singing as a career. The woman at the end was not his singing partner in the song. That was his wife, and they were married for over 30 years. I actually know and have worked with Patrick's brother Don, who is also an actor, but mostly a character actor who plays more background roles.
You should watch Road House, one of my favorite movies!!! Also as beautiful as he was and all the movies etc that patrick did, he never once strayed from his wife...he loved her more than anything!! A true gentleman...

It's very difficult for me to watch this. I clearly remember the scene in Dirty Dancing and how heartbreaking him leaving was. Now he's gone and the pain is intense! Patrick Swayze...there is no other! 😔😢❤️
He recorded a few more songs in addition to this one, mainly for the movie ”Roadhouse”, but also a beautiful male duet called ”Brothers” for the movie Next Of Kin. Most people here have already pointed out what an insanely multitalented man he was. His career took off when he starred as Orry Main in the tv series ”North and South” (where he also showed amazing skills on horseback). Next, Dirty Dancing catapulted him to international fame. He trained as a professional ballet dancer before he became mainly an actor, but he excelled at literally anything, be it singing, dancing, acting, all kinds of sports (check out the movie Point Break starring him and Keanu Reeves, another great motion picture where he shows his skills as a surfer). I’m always so glad and grateful I grew up at a time when multitalented people like him inspired us teenagers. ❤ You just don’t find these qualities in modern day artists anymore. He was a rare gem, very underrated, and he’s sorely missed. Let me recommend a few more movies/songs you MUST check out. Movies: Dirty Dancing, Point Break, Ghost. Road House is also a classic, although the story’s flat, but he absolutely shines in that one. You’ll love Point Break, just make sure to watch the 1991 original, not the 2015 remake dishonoring Patrick’s legacy. A beautiful rare one is also City of Joy (where he plays a doctor in India, very hard to get movie nowadays). Songs: Cliff’s Edge, Raising Heaven In Hell Tonight, Brothers. There’s also a beautiful live performance of ”Love Hurts” on YT that he did with Larry Gatlin once. Last but not least, let me say how much I enjoy your videos. It’s so beautiful seeing you, from a younger generation, discovering and appreciating the wonderful artists my generation grew up with. They must not be forgotten, so thank you for honoring them and keeping their memory alive by introducing them to your YT followers. 🙏 Btw, the female singer’s name is Wendy Fraser. AND I forgot to mention that Patrick didn’t only sing She’s Like The Wind, he wrote the song himself.
I'm watching This one with you. Waiting for the background vocals to kick in late in the song. It's very cool n awesome how haunting n powerful her voice is.Waiting for the wide eye smile you always get when something surprises you. Saxophones dude!!! Always the saxophones

Aaaaaaaah man, Patrick Swayze, that was my baby there!! So glad you played that one. The official video was much better, for it showed him & the lady singing, but I'm still glad you played him. The woman at the end was his wife, not the lady he was singing with. If you wanna see a great movie he's in, try the movie Dirty Dancing, which features "She Like The Wind". He probably caught damn near everyone off guard years ago, when we saw him sing. Beautiful voice he had...
