  • Made from lightweight pine and splattered with something, this dresser got a much needed makeover! You won't recognize the AFTER!

That turned out so nice! I love stenciled furniture. It looks high end!😊

Thank you! If I can't think of anything else to do with a piece, I turn to stenciling!

Lovely work. I usually find myself stripping paint to refinish old pieces, but I think paint was the right choice for this dresser. It came out beautifully.

Thanks! Yeah, the grain of the thin pine didn't have anything going for it.

I love pine furniture because it is lightweight and easy on moving day. It turned out beautiful! The only suggestion is to add rubber caps on the inside bolts so the owner wont scratch themselves. It's a small thing but, it shows attention to detail.

Thanks! I loved that this piece was so lightweight! I have to move things to my basement and back up again, so the lighter the better. Can I get those rubber caps at Home Depot? I've thought about that before.

This is beautiful! And I’m so glad you didn’t do it the other way around black with white I don’t think it would have been even half as pretty.

Thoroufhly engrossing. Like that you jumped from knobs to whole piece. Creation source is so insightful to know. Stsy well. Who gets this now?

How do you clean the primer out of your brushes or do you throw them away?

I wash all my brushes and rollers with hot water and dish soap. I try to never throw away a brush as they're expensive and I don't want to create more waste than I have to. Flipping furniture already comes at a pretty high ecological cost.
