For all those criticizing him for leaving his speed brakes deployed. There’s a VERY good reason. To do that maneuver, he needed full AB. At full AB, that thing will want to accelerate like a bat out of hell. If you notice he left his gear down for awhile (as part of his show). The speed limit on the gear is 300 KIAS. If he didn’t keep his speed brakes out, he would have quickly exceeded the gear limit.

This is why the usa needs to up it's funding on ai controlled planes,humans are obsolete,ai can go much faster and be exposed to much more g forces then any human can,it would give whoever has ai controlled planes a serious advantage

the F-16 is the wing-suit equivalent among fighter jets. so light, compact and maneuverable and nimble, it's like the pilot barely has anything around him but a suit on. great footage !

Super pilot
A lot of the time (about air brake) pilots choose to do maneuvers like that with certain presets is for show purposes. It probably made the climb take a few more seconds and engine rumble effect. I talked to a Lt.Cl. P-51 Pilot and he said on low pass flybys he used to run a certain RPM for a better sound on his passes
This pilot is Tom 'Gizmo' DM; he was the display pilot back then for the Belgian Air Force, I saw a show of him at Sanicole 2017, it was great!
And Tom is my son, one of the best F16 pilots in de BAF!

back in the 90's, I would sit at the end of the runway where it ended at I-40 and watch the fighters do touch and go at Tinker Air Force Base in OKC. It was amazing to watch the pilots skim the runway and at the end they would turn the plane skyward and accelerate like a missile straight up. I think they were F15's.
