The General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-engine multirole fighter aircraft originally developed by General Dynamics for the United States Air Force (USAF). Designed as an air superiority day fighter, it evolved into a successful all-weather multirole aircraft. Over 4,600 aircraft have been built since production was approved in 1976. Although no longer being purchased by the U.S. Air Force, improved versions are being built for export customers.

I was a maintenance guy on the F-16 for 4 years very hard work, long hours and all people see is the jet and the meat bag flying it not the real people who keep it flying.
I've heard recently that this beautiful jet is a nightmare to perform maintenance on. Is that true? If so why? It's smaller size?

what is the differences between f16 viper and falcon?
It’s the same aircraft. “Fighting Falcon” is the F-16’s original name, back when it was developed in the 70’s. “Viper” is the semi-official name given to the F-16 by its pilots. In recent times, Lockheed-Martin has taken over F-16 production and sometimes will use “Viper” in promotional materials.
Falcon is the designated name. Same as ☝me.
Viper is from Battle Star Galactica.
